Tips for those of you stuck on this fight -The arena you have really matters. A lot of people say Post-Polterghast Infernum bosses require a World Arena and fights like these are why. DOG dashes really fast. That being said, he only really has 2 attack "styles" so it's pretty easy to learn what you have to do. You just have to execute the run perfectly. -If you look in the video, I tend to die when I get to the surface of the jungle which is where the bottom of my arena is. I didn't wanna just break apart our entire world so our arena was relatively small compared to what is optimal. That being said, have wide gaps between your platforms. If you can use asphalt platforms, do so. Teleportation is also usually disabled but I got around that with potions. -DOG tends to despawn in multiplayer when you get too close to the world boarder. He also sometimes spawns only as a head which happens with a lot of worm bosses in Terraria when you play multiplayer. This is another reason why a world arena is optimal. -Prioritize downward movement over upward movement as upward movement can be pretty difficult to get right (even with the use of a Bobbit Hook). -DOG's laser attacks are easier than his dashing attacks in my opinion and can largely be dodged if you stay calm and just analyze where there's empty space on screen. Slowing down is required to successfully dodge this attack and a lot of players get caught off guard or panic due to the bullethell. -DOG's other attacks are mostly just him ramming his head at you which is an instakill in most scenarios. I recommend dashing diagonally to avoid this attack. Fun detail: you can see DOG actually open his mouth before he attacks you. -If you're doing this in multiplayer like I am, chaining respawns is a really effective strategy since DOG mostly focuses on one player which he dashes towards. If one of you are playing melee (like I am), you are going to be the one targeted so optimal movement is essential. Other players should keep distance from DOG's head and mainly target the segments. This fight wasn't easy and seeing as I am a terrible player, I wouldn't have been able to do it without wind's help. May you fair better in this fight than we did.
INSTALL BETTER ZOOM PLEASE WHY ARE YOU SO ZOOMED IN But good job tho this fight took me 302 attempts solo. Just please install better zoom it will make all bosses so much easier when half of your screen isnt covered with yourself and the weapon
