As a migraine sufferer since my tweens (I'm 44 now) ... that def sounds like a migraine and can be triggered by several things... stress, hormones (usually during PMS for me) , allergies, certain noises, bright lights, strong smells, certain foods, disturbances in sleep patterns, certain meds, neck pain...etc. Might be helpful to figure out what's triggering it by noticing what you were doing before getting the headache (journaling might help you notice a pattern...ie if you were on your phone/ computer before ... it may be due to your posture, or you may need glasses/ change in prescription and so on). But yes... if you don't catch migraines early enough, they can last for days. For me... when it got really bad, only a trip to the ER and IV morphine stopped it...and I'd be out of it for a couple days after. Highly recommend a dark quiet room and going to sleep if possible after taking the meds. For a while, I needed a barbiturate prescription because it was the only thing that helped and my body could tolerate... BUT if I didn't take it early enough... it meant an ER trip (the pain is excruciating and extremely debilitating for me). I've got mine under control now using diet and stress management. I no longer take any prescriptions or make ER trips, but it was a long road to get here. I really hope you feel better. Check out some breathing methods for stress management (wim hof and/or cyclic breathing are both great). Thank you Po... for entertaining us even though you don't feel well. I don't watch reality TV but I watch and enjoy your recaps of reality TV. Reach out if I can be of any help ❤🤗.
Wow, you described what I go through pretty much perfectly. Propanolol helped me for a bit, but Butalbitol/Fioricet helps me the most IF I catch it early enough. If not, that means days of awful pain and then eventually an IV with morphine if it hasn't gone away by then. I'm even typing with one eye open right now bc my head is pounding. Definitely need to take a break! I wish Immitrex, Treximet, Maxalt, Topamax, and other prescriptions or OTCs would work, but they don't. I'm thinking about getting my tragus pierced to see if that helps. It's truly horrible. I'm sorry you can empathize. ❤️🩹 *I suffered my first one while in elementary school, and I'm 41 now. They do run in my family, though. I suffer worse than my dad and bro, but my aunt's were really debilitating. Perhaps some of it is hormones. Do you have a family history as well?

My mom gets such bad migraines that she not only throws up but she has like tunnel vision, can't see, her tongue swells up... And doctors, over the years, have come up with nothing 🤷🏼♀️

i feel you with the meds situation, me being the sleepyhead that i am forgot to reorder my meds on time so i ended up running out and went 3 days without any meds at all, when my pharmacy said my order was ready i got a bottle of water while i was waiting for it to be processed, the chemist said the water was 70p (like a dollar i think in usa) and i ended up giving her 10p (like 14 cents) and she just looked at me like "girl what r u doin" and when i explained to her that i'd been off my meds for 3 days she just said "now it makes sense" and fortunately i finally got them and she just said "get them down your neck and you'll feel a lot better"

That's a scary story. Last time I heard a story like this (Nathalie Morin ) the woman's mom was begging Canadian governement to bring her daughter beck from Saudi Arabia with her 4 kids because she could not leave the house, she had to wear a niqab when she did and only with HIS family members. Basically, a 30 year old being held hostage in another country but people still think their husbands are not like that( they smoke, they drink alcohol, etc.) before the get in the plane and never come back. He's freaking out because he feels the friend is outing him out with his obsure thoughts. Since the friend is a local woman, he thinks she should "know her place".

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I can tell you why I believe Exedrine helps you (and myself as well). One of the 3 main ingredients is Aspirin, buffered I'm sure. You have to be careful with Aspirin but it helped me get through covid.
Love your recaps as far as your migraines, I too suffer from them and what helps me (until the meds kick in), try squeezing the section (the meaty part of your hand) between your left thumb pointer finger with your right thumb and pointer finger. (You don’t have to use a lot of pressure but just enough to alleviate the migraine) Hold that for a few seconds each time you squeeze it. Repeat as needed. This method usually helps me and hopefully it helps you as well.
Nicole could've used that time in the apartment with his Mom to improve and learn her Egyptian language skills! Take your phone and use it as a flash card to learn more vocabulary! His Mom would've loved to help her, I bet!!

Girlie you had a migraine!! I also suffer from them but have been able to manage my symptoms, my main triggers are my period or when the weather changes suddenly (cold to hot or hot to cold, the air pressure change makes my head hurt). What helped for me was cutting out caffeine and alcohol completely, taking migrelief vitamins every day (theyre supplements that specifically help migraines!) and eating 3 meals a day. I also bought a gua sha and it helps so much with the pressure points on my head and relieving the pain. I hope this isnt a regular occurrence for you but hopefully this helps another girlie out there!!
I use BC powder or goody’s powder if I’m out of excedrine. They have similar aspirin, Tylenol, and caffeine contents. Feel better, migraines are rough, but you’re not alone ❤
Po, one of the best part of being a mom is learning the tricks and home remedy to things. Here's some mom advice for you and anyone who could use it ❤ Ginger will be your best friend!! Ginger is a natural cure all for headaches. I hope you like Ginger Snaps 🤞 I had a friend who had Migraines, she kept boxes of ginger snaps (kitchen, car & bedroom) and snacked on them. It helped keep her Migraines away. With cramps, Bananas are supposed to be something that provides the vitamins and nutrients you need to calm your muscles. Not sure how true it is, but my daughter and I never had cramps and 🍌🍌 were always around. I hope you feel better and can find what helps calm down the symptoms that cause you pain & discomfort. Love you dear ❤ your videos always make my day.
It’s the Potassium in the bananas that helps with dehydration and muscle cramps. Bananas are also good for those that have diarrhea or IBS issues. It’s always best to consult your physician on what’s best for you as bananas are restricted for those with kidney issues and/or on dialysis. As a migraine sufferer since my tweens (I'm 44 now) ... that def sounds like a migraine and can be triggered by several things... stress, hormones (usually during PMS for me) , allergies, certain noises, bright lights, strong smells, certain foods, disturbances in sleep patterns, certain meds, neck pain...etc. Might be helpful to figure out what's triggering it by noticing what you were doing before getting the headache (journaling might help you notice a pattern...ie if you were on your phone/ computer before ... it may be due to your posture, or you may need glasses/ change in prescription and so on). But yes... if you don't catch migraines early enough, they can last for days. For me... when it got really bad, only a trip to the ER and IV morphine stopped it...and I'd be out of it for a couple days after. Highly recommend a dark quiet room and going to sleep if possible after taking the meds. For a while, I needed a barbiturate prescription because it was the only thing that helped and my body could tolerate... BUT if I didn't take it early enough... it meant an ER trip (the pain is excruciating and extremely debilitating for me). I've got mine under control now using diet and stress management. I no longer take any prescriptions or make ER trips, but it was a long road to get here. I really hope you feel better. Check out some breathing methods for stress management (wim hof and/or cyclic breathing are both great). Thank you Po... for entertaining us even though you don't feel well. I don't watch reality TV but I watch and enjoy your recaps of reality TV. Reach out if I can be of any help ❤🤗.
Wow, you described what I go through pretty much perfectly. Propanolol helped me for a bit, but Butalbitol/Fioricet helps me the most IF I catch it early enough. If not, that means days of awful pain and then eventually an IV with morphine if it hasn't gone away by then.
I'm even typing with one eye open right now bc my head is pounding. Definitely need to take a break! I wish Immitrex, Treximet, Maxalt, Topamax, and other prescriptions or OTCs would work, but they don't. I'm thinking about getting my tragus pierced to see if that helps. It's truly horrible. I'm sorry you can empathize. ❤️🩹
*I suffered my first one while in elementary school, and I'm 41 now. They do run in my family, though. I suffer worse than my dad and bro, but my aunt's were really debilitating. Perhaps some of it is hormones. Do you have a family history as well?

Girly!! I’ve suffered migraines since I was 12 years old and totally understand the pain! Glad you are feeling better! Idk if you have tried those face/head gel ice packs but they help me a little especially when the nausea sets in.

i feel you with the meds situation, me being the sleepyhead that i am forgot to reorder my meds on time so i ended up running out and went 3 days without any meds at all, when my pharmacy said my order was ready i got a bottle of water while i was waiting for it to be processed, the chemist said the water was 70p (like a dollar i think in usa) and i ended up giving her 10p (like 14 cents) and she just looked at me like "girl what r u doin" and when i explained to her that i'd been off my meds for 3 days she just said "now it makes sense" and fortunately i finally got them and she just said "get them down your neck and you'll feel a lot better"

Girl I feel you on those headaches I also can only take excedrin, nothing else works cuz I used to take all the other stuff so much I basically built up a tolerance to it 😢 and y’know at some point my parents got concerned about my liver as well 😬 but that “hungover” kind of feeling of after the headaches mostly gone but you’re still kinda tainted from it I’ve never heard anyone else put that into words I feel seen 🖤
That's a scary story. Last time I heard a story like this (Nathalie Morin ) the woman's mom was begging Canadian governement to bring her daughter beck from Saudi Arabia with her 4 kids because she could not leave the house, she had to wear a niqab when she did and only with HIS family members. Basically, a 30 year old being held hostage in another country but people still think their husbands are not like that( they smoke, they drink alcohol, etc.) before the get in the plane and never come back. He's freaking out because he feels the friend is outing him out with his obsure thoughts. Since the friend is a local woman, he thinks she should "know her place".

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I can tell you why I believe Exedrine helps you (and myself as well). One of the 3 main ingredients is Aspirin, buffered I'm sure. You have to be careful with Aspirin but it helped me get through covid.

Aspirin works ok for migraine when you take it with caffeine. I have a diet red bull with a gram of fizzy- tablet aspirin.

Love your recaps as far as your migraines, I too suffer from them and what helps me (until the meds kick in), try squeezing the section (the meaty part of your hand) between your left thumb pointer finger with your right thumb and pointer finger. (You don’t have to use a lot of pressure but just enough to alleviate the migraine) Hold that for a few seconds each time you squeeze it. Repeat as needed. This method usually helps me and hopefully it helps you as well.

Don't like this couple. He's a child. She either isn't open to his culture or just doesn't want to be as conservative as he wants. If his family agrees with him, then this would be the reason to not marry someone you don't really know. Why you should live with someone before you marry. If the culture/religion doesn't allow for that, then that's just another reason why you should know the culture/religion or how your future spouse really wants to live life. If he just lied to her, then that's the reason you should just divorce.
Girlie you had a migraine!! I also suffer from them but have been able to manage my symptoms, my main triggers are my period or when the weather changes suddenly (cold to hot or hot to cold, the air pressure change makes my head hurt). What helped for me was cutting out caffeine and alcohol completely, taking migrelief vitamins every day (theyre supplements that specifically help migraines!) and eating 3 meals a day. I also bought a gua sha and it helps so much with the pressure points on my head and relieving the pain. I hope this isnt a regular occurrence for you but hopefully this helps another girlie out there!!
I use BC powder or goody’s powder if I’m out of excedrine. They have similar aspirin, Tylenol, and caffeine contents. Feel better, migraines are rough, but you’re not alone ❤
I pour them in my mouth with a drink already in there btw lol they do taste gross but I’d eat sand if it got rid of my migraine lmao

Ginger will be your best friend!! Ginger is a natural cure all for headaches. I hope you like Ginger Snaps 🤞 I had a friend who had Migraines, she kept boxes of ginger snaps (kitchen, car & bedroom) and snacked on them. It helped keep her Migraines away.
With cramps, Bananas are supposed to be something that provides the vitamins and nutrients you need to calm your muscles. Not sure how true it is, but my daughter and I never had cramps and 🍌🍌 were always around.
I hope you feel better and can find what helps calm down the symptoms that cause you pain & discomfort.

It’s the Potassium in the bananas that helps with dehydration and muscle cramps. Bananas are also good for those that have diarrhea or IBS issues. It’s always best to consult your physician on what’s best for you as bananas are restricted for those with kidney issues and/or on dialysis.
