Hey Leon. I went back and forth with Nik on this amp a few times and then ordered it. Took me two years to pull the trigger on a Ceriatone amp! And BTW I told Nik I have to give you props on your demo and collaboration on this amp.
Mega gratz Leon, you are obviously enjoying yourself in that video! There's a zillion super nice amps based on the modded Marshall meme, Friedman BE, Bogner Helios and so on. But I've never heard one toothier or beefier than your Ceriatone. Only 3 preamp tubes tells me it gets there without stacking preamp gain stages like Boogie so the teeth on the buzzsaw are extra coarse and the bite and pick attack are just amazing. And it doesn't have the typical Marshall throaty upper mid hump so it's not just a Marshall clone, it's got it's own thing going. I hope Cliff at Fractal get's his hands on one of these beasts because it deserves a spot in the AxeFx firmware.
If you take the Atomica High model and tweak the negative feedback, input EQ and saturation you basically get this. In fact that model inspired me to get this made, so chunky!
@@posarelli Pretty sure all you would need to do is Google the brand that shall not be named... Any recent news related to that company should answer your question.

I just got a Mark IV last week and was talking to Nik about some components for another build which resulted in me buying a molecular. I didn't need it but I couldn't help myself
I get that it is incrediable sounding and amazingly versatile BUT what is like as a live amp for the working muso? Running backwards and forwards switching switches and tweaking the eq doesn't appeal to me in the heat of the moment. Interested to hear responses because the Molecular really is an incrediable tool!
That's my Q too. I've always had either channel switching amps or clean pedal platforms...stunning as the many molecular sounds are, it strikes me as a studio rather than a live amp...but maybe I'm missing something.
Excellent video Leon. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on this amp. I have one question. Have you had a chance to try the three-channel switcher by Diezel called the "Herbert"? I realize it's a different beast, but I just wanted to throw this question out to you. Thanks!
You got some killer chops man! I would like to ask you a few questions, if I may. Do you know if the Molecular will sound good with Vintage30s? I don't feel like buying 4 Greenbacks, LOL. I am torn between the Molecular 100, the Gargoyle and the AH100 Deluxe. I already own a Marshall JVM410HJS and a EVH 5150iii 50 watt. Since I already have 2 channel switching amps, I am thinking a simpler, plexi type circuit like Molecular would be better and the AH100 Deluxe may be overkill. The JVM has a good clean, a great crunch and balls out high gain. Ditto for the EVH. But as far as a plexi tone goes, it doesn't seem to be either ones forte. Any advice?
Not sure if its just because you get so many good tones or the amp but this seems to sound thicker and more ballsy than the leviathan. Of course that has 3 channels but I just want a high gain fat head I have other amps for clean. Controls for negative feedback is awesome, I love no negative feedback and minimum negative feedback as its fatter and more wild (VOX AC series including the awesome AC50, Rectifier Modern). Does the girth increase negative feedback or decrease more headroom and louder/brighter seem counter intuitive as more negative feedback should make it more linear with more headroom but also quieter.
How the pick response with it? Is it fast and tight, or would it benefit from an overdrive pedal? I'm a little addicted to a TS808 in most amps haha. Looks like all the ERA switch does is pull in diodes, so maybe that's its way of having an OD built right into it.
