Personally, I think that is implying that there is some sort of secret on Artifice bc there is a hole in the chai fence around it, but it could also be hinting towards the drill thing under the company building
“A hole in the fence” could also be a metaphor for breaking out of a prison, or freeing yourself in some way. If employment at the company is a sort of prison (the quotas keep increasing forever after all, there is no “resignation” option after playing long enough, for example), “breaking the fence” could mean creating or finding some sort of escape route.

I think I played too much Outer Wilds, because I kept seeing the dust in the "air" and I started panicking thinking that I was about to fall into a planet's gravitational pull. Didn't even see what looks like actual bits of furniture floating around.
I didn't notice the scrap at first either, but when I looked closer I was thinking that maybe this was some new loot? But the bolt is old, and the chair is just furniture from mansion interior. The scratches on the employee's visor disappear during 1:11~1:15 I think it means they've taken off their helmet (which is of course vital if they wish to survive in outer space), and a new faint light source comes into their view from below So... Likely everything following that was what the employees see after their death, or even if they survived, they've been turned into something that's not human. OR the employees have never been humans in the first place
That's a nice catch, I didn't even notice that the scratches in the visor faded away. But if the helmet is off, or visor is open, how does the "warning O2 critical" message get displayed at 1:31? Don't these messages display in the helmet/visor?
@@hagaracing2596 Oh I really just let that slip my mind 🤦 Then, perhaps the employee is recalling an early memory, so their visor appears in better condition (haven't been scratched)?

I don't think the doors are the same, they look different. The door in v60 has a frame around it, the door in v50 does not. And both doors open from right to left, if they are the same door, but v60 perspective is from the other side, v60 door should open left to right.
This cutscene makes me think of a few conflicting theories! Theory 1 is that this now ex worker floating through space became the mystery door guy from the last cutscene! And theory 2 is that the door guy is merciful in some way and is saving multiple people from these life or death scenarios... and theory number 3 is that our friend mr door guy isnt much of a friend and is bringing these people onto the ship to work for the company and wiping their memories... Only time will tell...
Interesting. In theory 1&2 is it possible that this character is Sigurd? I feel like his part in the story isn't over quite yet. But i kinda like theory 3 the best, it fits with the whole feeling of being a great great asset when playing this neverending game 😁

Sigurd is probably dead, considering the game is like hundreds of years after his logs, which were in the 1960s. I don’t think we’ll meet him.

That little poem might actually be an allusion to the drill. It's describing something that can provide aid for the company employees via defense

I cant be the only one who is reminded of Morning from the Upturned with the extremely bright lights in the doorways (which we have now seen twice)
