@Squidward not playing doesn't mean you don't deserve at least not always. Koeman is just being stubborn. If he made him play a few times and then realized he doesn't need him it's fine but he didn't play this season so he can't judge him based on the training it's not the same thing, not the same pressure. Last year when Setien made him play whenever he enters he immediately gave the team a certain rage and fastness like you feel that something has changed. He's talented, has the Barça mentality and genuinely loves the club which is all we need to know. So he deserves better than some players

He didn't play that much and his errors didn't cause any damage. There're players who don't deserve the playtime...
