No need to apologise for taking time away from the channel - maybe it could inspire a video about the value of taking time away from the day job, or how to make productive use of spare time?
What I love are the following exercises: The kettlebell snatch and the long cycle (kettlebell clean and jerk and swing). I like the Z-press and the situp to OHP sitting. A time saving exercise with a huge bang for your buck is the Jefferson deadlift. Thanks for the great content!
Mine would be: 1. Medball Rotation Slam 2. Palloff Press 3. Archer/Cossack Squat 4. Kettlebell/Dumbbell Atlas Swings 5. Kettlebell Swings 6. Single-leg RDLs All of these exercises are game-changers and it not only improves my physique, but I am also more explosive and more coordinated with my body. Cheers!
Crazy only a year ago you were trying to get 100k followers now today you have almost 400k!!awesome channel man. Love all your videos, got the book also!
After 3 years straight of mainly heavy bag work and weights, my lower back has become unbelievably weak and unstable... Top man for this. Great insight, keep up the good work 👌🏻👍🏻
My condolences for your loss brother. Not many people deal with them well while balancing business and multiple side hustles. Hope you're doing well off camera and best wishes to and your family.
In the US, Loaded Carries are called Farmer's Walk and there is alot of ways to go with them. I like carrying big boy kettle bells followed by sprints. The squatting press looks torturous, I LOVE IT.
Farmer's Carries are only one type of loaded carries. Sandbag carries, front rack carries and Yolk Walls are all types of loaded carries with different benefits.
1:42 No.2: I got myself two 35 L jerrycans (mine weigh in at 39.1 kg when full) and I carry them from the tap in front of the building to my apartment on the 2nd floor. One time I even used my 29 kg weight vest as well, though that version is a bit much for regular workouts atm. A very fatiguing exercise, but worth it. 3:47 No.4: Added to today's workout. It was fun doing them, though probably best for me to do the one legged variation. 5:32 No.6: Already doing them. Good information, as always.
Condolences for your losses. Glad you are back. Can't wait for the neck training. As a entrepreneur dad the struggle can be real some days. You make great content and it is appreciated. 👍 Plus Ultra.
Sled push/pull is one of my favorites, especially if you use upper and lower body together when pushing/pulling. It's functional as hell, works every muscle in your body explosively, and gets your heart pumping like nothing else.
Can me make a deal i have jeff nippards program and david laids and also julian smith if u want to trade in exchange because currently i spent all my money on new phone and i want this program badly please help
I have some training ebooks I can send you if you’re hurting for money right now. (Been there, know how that feels). I have some books like Becoming a Supple leopard and a few military survival ebooks (why not you never know if they might be useful). They can prove to be useful in your training. Just let me know the best way to send some stuff over to you.
Glad to see you back. Great video, the squatting press is one I especially like and will be making note of for future use. Reminds me of the bent press. I look forward to digging into your book. Since you are doing neck training next I wanted to suggest you look into the "tumpline" as a potential training tool.
My favorite exercises are rowing, wall balls, lunges, planks and muscle ups. Rowing, because it's good for pre-exhaust before lifting, wall balls, because they are less risky than front squatting and thrusters, which is good for shoulder capacity. Lunges, because they improve my leg strenght for running and help me go up on stairs faster lol. Planks, because I need core stability and muscle ups, because of their explosive nature.
Can me make a deal i have jeff nippards program and david laids and also julian smith and SIMEON PANDA'S ,ULLISES JR'S if u want to trade in exchange because currently i spent all my money on new phone and i want this program badly please help
Scam school (Brian brushwood's modern rogue school) published his physical books scam school 1 and 2 and included scanning squares (I don't know their technical name) to link to videos of tutorials to save ink and keep things simple. It was a very effective modernized format. Speaking of, loving the new book of yours by the way and thank you for remedying the order glitch so promptly. Can't wait to see how your routines impact my current physique. Good luck with the family and hope things get less hectic for you.
Great compilation here, while I have used 2-3 of these in the past but several are definitely new and now soon to be incorporated in my routine. Look forward to more in this series. Appreciate your hard work and dedication, and hey man take a break when you can, it's good to decompress even when other unfortunate things are taking up your time. We'll be here, bro.
Nice video. I love the fact that you focus on balance which is key in adding muscle definition as well as better control to help strengthen muscles in areas you lack. Excellent video
Great list, I would just like to add that Nordic curls are probably the other best calisthenic leg exercise to do! Also, sick bent arm planche at 7:08.
@5:20 I love the way that your Brain works and thinks of all the progressions. I do the same thing with my training. All the way I can make big changes by making small changes. Thank you for what you do and for your amazing e-book “super functional training” 💯💯💯
These are cool! I would add the Dumbell Floor Press. A note on climbing: I was an ardent boulderer for many years. When I started lifting weights after my bouldering sessions was always surprised at how strong I was even after exhausting myself with intense 3 hour climbing sessions. I believe this was due to the dramatic neuromuscular actvation that climbing causes. Nothing like hanging from your fingertips until failure to wake up that body-brain dynamic!

I skateboard and one of my training excercises is 10 sets of 3 different 180 ollie variations up and down a curb so 3x2x10. This is amazing calf, leg, core, and fast twitch muscle training. Incorporating things like climbing, skating, swimming ie full body excercises is great for avoiding boredom.

Awesome i have been working out my neck recently with headstands, front and back bridges, and isometric neck holds( since i do not have a neck harness). You should really look into Martin Farmer Burns neck and exercises.
A good calf jump modified if those are too easy, become like a ball hands on head and only use your calves to frog hop while still in ball form. Just do the perimeter of your area and see, if you do them in place they don’t work as good, the momentum and your body weight coming down makes it so your calves must explode
1)squatting press
2)loaded carries
3)pike pulses
4)calf jumps
5)rope climbs
6)pistol squats
7)rock climbing
