Smitty’s actual title is Assistant Athletic Director of Equipment Services of the university. He actually spent years at Nike as an executive over NBA basketball apparel. He’s a CU graduate and is a former handler/runner with Raphie. He’s an absolute gem.

That is something that has always bother me. How you become a true freshman on the equipment staff?? So fall freshman come in in mid August, is it possible to be on the staff on ANY capacity by Week 1? It sounds like experience but work ethic still kills. That has bothered me since Aug 2007.
