10 things for begginers I've learned From playing for 3+ years 1. Keep boom slimes away from the others, so you won't die feeding/collecting other slimes plorts 2. if you get a bunch(20-30) of phosphor slimes and a plort collector no matter the value they will give you 200(+) coins every time it fills 3. stock up on chickens and select calls from Bob anytime you can 4. Don't keep to many slimes that only eat meat it can be hard 5. Upgrade your person+ranch 6. Get more coins by getting a bunch of the same slimes or feeding your slimes there favorite food 7. If your planning to get a slime or go out adventuring, make a spot before spending other coins for if you bring back a new slime 8. Stock up on items (rare or uncommon foods, new chickens, plorts, ECT) using a silo 9. Go to some of the first pink slimes you see when you spawn, jump down (have a bar full of ALOT of food) jump down to see the big pink slime and feed it all the food it will burst and give you a key 10. Unlock the lab for 10,000 coins to open pods and find clay+more
I started playing Slime Rancher a week ago since Epic Games were giving it for free and to be honest, I didn't expect very much of it, so the fact that I'm now kind of addicted definitely took me by surprise 😅I kinda felt a little lost though, maybe I missed an instruction or clues or something, so this definitely helped me find my way a little more. I legit saw a gold slime when I first started the game. I go out of the ranch on my first day and, poof!!! A gold slime appears.. I couldn't get any plorts because I had no food.
I know this is old but, when I played slime rancher a few years a ago, I got into the glitch world thingy and I somehow found a glitch slime disguised as a lucky slime And yes, it goes away. Doesn't become a glitch slime, just becomes a ghost.
I love this game except it needs like a big upgrade when it comes down to how much content there is too offer and to not keep adding new areas only but something to keep coming back to.
i found my only (so far that is) gold and lucky slimes at the start of the game and i was tabby hunting (cuz you can see tabbys there )then i saw both the gold and lucky slimes! i only got the lucky slime tho :C
An update has come out adding the glass desert and new slimes:fire slime,dervish slime,tangle slime and mosaic slime and their gordos and a new fruit. The prickle pear. Also there was another update adding the ancient ruins and a new slime. The quantum slime and the phase lemon Do you know about the sabre slimes?
the area where i find both licky slimes and gold slimes the most is the ancient ruins, i think i at least got 7 gold plorts from there in a month, so i suggest you to go there if you are hunting gold slimes for their plorts.
I know how to get a gold and/or lucky slime to stay when you shoot it throw your food at it then put your gun above it and grab.when if tries to fly a way it will get sucked up in the gun and fall back down instead of flying away never to be seen again
Random person wrong i know the secret to it and its incredibly easy here is the difficulty measures gold slime : 4 out of 5 (hard but not impossible) lucky slime 1 out of 5 (easy)
i found a Lucky Slime once. i went like 15 feet away to get it a chicken. it got eaten by a Tarr. i launched it into the water and just stood there for a while, enjoying it's death.
And I Like slime rancher I take care of my slimes BUT THERE SUPER HARD TO TAKE CARE OF but I have over 21,933 money on slime rancher because I found 12 gold slimes and it was COOL I WAS SO SURPRISED I hope you are a good rancher and being kind to your slimes
I always raise largos, they are pretty hard, except for Hunter Slimes because last time I made a largo of the hunter it became a tart and ate all of my slimes. That was a sad day..
It took me a good 10 minutes to notice the video was 5 years old and that there are many new slimes already. Was a great video tho and watched it anyways
Before I was looking for Gordos and I stumbled upon a new cat so I tried to grab it and it didn’t let grab it so I was sad when I found out lucky slimes were rare😭
I find pink slimes hard to ranch because when I feed different slimes in front of the pink slime they will break through the air net to turn into a largo and then they end up turning into tarrs
Little tip NEVER combine rad slimes and boom slimes I put 20 in a fully upgraded coral they devastated a part of my ranch so I turned one of them into tarr now its a garden

Drop amounts can be random according to the wiki, you can also shoot multiple items at them for more possible plorts. I'll have to look into using carrots.
For people watching this later Quantum slimes are ONLY found in ancient ruins, they can teleport so keep that in mind Dervish slimes spawn in the glass desert almost anywhere Tangle also glass desert but I think only in the oasis they spawn Fire slims glass desert in fire storm Unsure about mosaic but I think same as tangle

They Flee and you need to feed it veggies and don't get too close it will flee into a object and disappear hope you know!
Find a random piece of food (carrots for example) and throw it at the slime and you will get a gold plort.
fun fact: the angry largos are hangry, feed them, they will be happy & then dissapear

I have never taken a rock slime alone. I just take the largo Rockys with me and then they make rockplort that means infinity rockyslimys
if you splash the rads with water the radiation fades for a while and it is easier to captur them ;-)
The area with most honey slimes is that flower field also honey slimes are not everywhere
