I recall these boxcars my many trips through Boston but think with the new highway, some ramps block the view now. I think this was the area for wholesale meats. Correct me if I’m wrong. Great that this will be a rail yard but sadly under the “T” and the Commonwealth. Thanks for the great Vlog.

I remember catching glimpses of those boxcars during my trips to Boston.
Nice catch... You'd think one of the NH Museum groups would be interested in snapping these up. Danbury or the group in Willimantic at least.
Or Mass coastal.
There’s one in Wakefield mass an old B&m boxcar.
Great find!
I wonder if the old Flower and Produce areas had tracks delivering product? Just on the other side of the “Expressway”
Awesome catch
There were a couple of these over in Cambridge by Iggy’s
those Kar Trak labels are great artifacts
Neat! Thanks! I wonder why they were abandoned?
Great catch Did they get removed? csx can use them
The mow equipment is obviously new. Does this mean the spur is still connected to a live track?
Hopefully they’ll be preserved
Maybe conway scenic could get them
Was thinking same thing.
Are those 40-foot boxcars?
I'd say that they would be going by the style and design 😊😊😊😊😊
Looks pretty good for 60-70 year old cars😁
No, not really, but thanks for inquiring. Beth
And people have no idea where bar codes came from
Is that the old Chelsea Produce Market?
Hey are you by chance interested in some other abandoned boxcars and ballast cars most people don't know about?
Ya
Those need to be rescued
