I wanted to edit with ray for such a long time but do you have an idea how hard it is to find a perfect song for him? Something slow and sad but also exiting and wild. I mean this song isn't 100% perfect eather but i just wanted to work with it XD
Ray is easily my favorite character of the manga/anime. He was golden in the first two main arcs but sadly got more and more pushed to the side as time went on. Anyway his intelect and love for his siblings Always fascinated me.

Honestly I feel like all he wanted was for his mom to see him as a son not just as meat to be sold I think that’s what he meant when he said he wanted to be treated like a human and as for Isabella I think she might have been scared that if she lets herself truly love him as her son it would be even harder for her to let him go

obviously she would have to let you go because she would have no benefit keeping ray, a double agent, with her
when ray asked why she gave birth to him, she made a face before she answered coldly (for the sake of the farm)
she would get in REALLY big trouble if ray died since he was a highest grade,,
but take into consideration that she realized how much she loved her children when they escaped, she even removed the ropes from the tree so the demons wont find out where they went and secretly prayed for their survival
i dont think isabella is evil, she is just broken. its not like she has a choice to do what she does right now (she has the device around her heart and the demons)

I loved Ray. I love how they explained how he really felt. I love how he wasn't trying to set himself on fire so the demons could take him away. But he did it for Emma and Norman. The two people he always loved with a true passion.

A character who spent 12 years of his life with double bluffing isabella who is freaking genius.
Ray.. a character who just made the escape plan for his friends and never thought about himself.
But at last moment. Norman kinda sacrifices his life and made the ending part of the escape plan.

@@tatertot_is_trying season 2 of the anime is absolutely shit yeah, but season 1 was pretty faithful and added in some little details I appreciated! I'd say it's definitely worth a watch, even if only for the voice acting. I also really liked how they animated the end of the escape, with Mamma there and Emma's goodbye (though I think they excluded Mamma's lines about wishing she could have loved them normally, which is a shame).

I just found that edit by now and im actually impressed how every single word in this song suits him so well, i mean even at the begining "i've been watching you for some time", just that one hited hard, like he spent his wole life watching mainly these two clueless about everything, hoping one day maybe they will figure this out, but they didn't so he did what he had to. Im just feeling some another level of saddnes for him. God job and amazgin choice of song and scenes even the wording, the part when he talked that he wanted to hate his life but he couldn't breaks heart.
