Yea. I was a Paladin tank since WoD and this expac I only tank TW and Heroics for Weekly Quests and spend more time doing PvP because it's less painful than Mythics.
@@whereisthesurvivalhunter9525 that's like comparing apples to oranges tbh the amount the classes have changed over the years. I think the main problem is the dungeon team feel like they made the dungeons for the Dragonflight class design then the class teams decided to completely rework how tanks and healers were gonna work late in development in WW and they didn't bother to tell/ notify the dungeon team to account for the change in philosophy, so now we have trash packs like in Grim Batol that tank hit every 12 seconds in the same groups as mobs that pulse aoe damage along with enrage effects that buff the whole trash pulls damage etc and it all snowballs when u get into the keys above 12, where you cant pull multiple groups of mobs because of these overlaps but then to time the keys you cant just take one pack at a time but with the mob skills overlaps u can get 100 to 0 very quick.

Both the stagger upkeep and stagger clear pulled from the same pool of brew charges. Shuffle wasn't a thing at all. Generally it has very little in common with current design.

I'm playing rdruid and by the love of god, can Blizzard stop linking massive group wide aoe with mechanics you yourself as a healer have to dodge? You already don't get group wide defensives, and your healing output already isn't the greatest. How am I supposed to keep up the group if I'm unable to spam Regrowths
Run with an Evoker and beg for Spatial Paradox, I guess? There's a reason why Evoker will probably still end up being played a lot in high keys even when it probably isn't "mandatory" any more in high keys.
i played rdruid and hpriest, i would say rdruid is much better than hpreist in these situations, Yeah but i agree with you. They like to link crazy AOE and mechs needed to dodge together, which is crazy and not fun especially in pug environments where dps don't use their defensive well.
How so? everything is quite clear. Are you talking about the interrupt trash? Like, it has a bar in game that work the same, it's just that a lot of high end players are so used to addon , that they can't play without them. I do 15 to 17lvl keys - I never used addon in M+ since Legion (outside of the pull % MDT for some people to share in group) Most interrupt are done vocaly. And as usual...it's a PTR
@@semikolondev Different scenarios. A 'zug zug dps' player can get away with default ui for the most part. They pretty much play the game on easy mode anyway. Healers and tanks will at the very least want a timer (dmb / big wigs) so they know when and how to rotate their cooldowns. (one can argue that after a lot of runs the timing becomes second nature, but still...) Healers will probably also want to run omnicd to track party cooldowns (so they can tell braindead dps when to use their defensives). Also...it seems you are playing with a group and not a pug and are also on comms. Apples and oranges.

Hey Quazzi! Curious if you’re open to making a quick PTR set up guide? I found it very unintuitive and my addons seem to break a lot of things in the PTR. I am sure you’re busy but that would be absolutely amazing!
Improved swirly graphics which is then followed out with a wide area effect with no graphically defined edge and hard to read on some surfaces. At least it is the top object on the floor I guess...
If they keep Shreddinator 3000 this punishing then I'm glad it's in the first couple of pulls. If a pug can deal with it well then it's likely the rest of the dungeon will go well tbh.. If not then it can be called pretty fast, those deaths build up lol
how to we do m+ on ptr? i dont see anyone listing keys and i dont have one obv, i copied toon over but only really see options to play heroic dungeons using finder.
@@Jake-um4gg Disc isn't hard at all. I main Disc Priest in S1 and don't really have to try too much. Monk is way easier than Disc and Shaman is 100% easymode. Fact remains they are going to dominate and it's awesome
What was it the community is complaining about, ah yes tank and healer shortage - and just by listing to the damage patterns on group and tank, this sounds not as if Blizzard intends to fix the root cause for the shortage. Rot damage + AOE + you need to move is one of the reasons many healers dislike CoT ...

This dungeon is hot garbage with all the extra tank busters.. good to see that the Devs STILL don't play thier own game. Looks like I am going to sit out another M+ season. There are simply more fun games to play.
Agreed that they need to sort out the squishiness of tanks. But I'm also very dissapointed to see 2 of the 4 new bosses have a stupid AoE pulse mechanic again. Swampface even combines they AoE pulse with a tehter and a bullet hell. As a healer, I already hate this with a passion without even playing it. Dodging these balls with a tethered PUG is already bad enough, but then being expected to keep everyone alive is just being ridiculous...
Honestly, not a fan of the new mechanic indicators. Might just be Old Head not liking change, but to me just seeing a bland circle on the ground is lsnt cool. The old mechanics were very clear but that might just be 20 years of seeing them and knowing how they work
I've been playing since TBC. This was sorely needed and is a huge improvement to the current indicators. I'm glad that Blizzard is finally taking this issue seriously.
Nah they’re sick. Tanks can live easily this tier (yes they can, I’m not joking anything under a 15-16 is piss easy to live) and I love the idea of improvising and saving cds from procs. Makes every pull and doing the same dungeon prog way more interesting.
Not gonna lie blizz is really sick in the head with all the aoe pulsating dmg this expansion the dmg is tuned way to high for the fact that you are heroic ilvl almost .Seems like season 2 will be even more of shitt show then season 1, they really listened to players saying they don't like the amount of tankbusters in season 1 by adding even more tankbusters in season 2 .Blizz is hell bent on killing off this expansion.
I think its because people are fed up with S1, and are scared as of what we can see now that S2 might follow S1 again, tank squishyness have not been adressed, same with healing issues, there are valid reasons to be worried for most M+ players, including myself :)

There’s nothing wrong with the hardest healing spec, being the strongest. Shaman is the dumbest and most boring healer ever.
