Thanks for looking at this. I'd never used it because I hadn't done the math on the cost of that vs. fertilizer, but it looks like this is way less expensive.
In FS22 i used grass as a cover crop. Gives the added benifit of getting a decent bit of silage and a fertilizer state. It was also a good way to get rid of excess of slurry and digestate.👍 It is however dependent on what crop rotation you do.
@farmercop in this and other videos you have a habit of referring to 'days'. But days in this game are variable and subjective. You should refer to a standard unit of time. When I seed and then advance time "a day", my stuff isn't grown as you suggest they would be after "a day" because I have different time scale settings.
My understanding is you can only add 1 state of fertiliser per month no matter how you do it, the reason you got the second state of fertiliser when you direct drilled over the crop is because you added the first state when you planted the oilseed the month before.
You can get 2 states if you fertilize, then spray with herbicide and then fertilize again. Used to do this in FS19 and it seems to still work in this one.
You can do a double application of manure/slurry/digestate. Fertilize before seeding and after seeding is another way. For example you can fertilize and then mulch/lime/plow/cultivate before seeding and fertilize again after seeding.
Does planting oil seed remove a lime state? So you'd need to like more often? So you'd lose 10% bonus, 5% for the initial harvest then a further 5% for the oil seed harvest? Although I tend to lime every harvest now as you lose 5% bonus per harvest
Hello, if you use Agrisem Combiplow Gold with a seeder with fertilizer you get 100%, the problem is that you can only use it efficiently with 4m wide seeders.
Oilseed kinda defeats the purpose of direct drilling other crops like wheat if I have to cultivate the oilseed to get the fert state before I plant the wheat.

you do have the best videos, however, and I appreciate you.
can you oilseed radish 2x months in a row and dose mulching oilseed give you fertilized state as well
That's really what I wanted to know too
Yes
Nice enough video, but i still have questions. Can i mulch plow spade or use the slurry cultivator on it?

You can fertilize twice essentially back to back if you do the first layer, then seed, then the second layer

can you plant it two times and get double fertilizer

i always begin to seed oilseed reddish as green manure...
sad part, hence the name oil seed radish, would be nice to collect the seed for the next planting 😊
OilSeed Radish is something i never did in FS22 because i didn't see a need to do it,
👋 buddy 👋
I tried to harvest this, but no success
.... didn't know what it was... was about to try 5o harvest next session... video just saved me that headache
Ngl I went back to FS22 for the mean time until they patch a handful of the bugs. I hope later next year it will be more playable, and more mods out
