East Lancs Railway 2024 Summer Diesel Gala

The Friday and Saturday running of the ELR gala are featured in this compilation. As usual at the Lancs the volunteers put on a great show.
All shots showcase the locos reaching full power at a variety of locations . Weather was very mixed but didnt spoil the enjoyment.

Excellent show from 40012 at Irwell Vale. Also great sound from the Warship at16:10. That must be getting on for 400 tons on behind there.

Thanks Simon , always about the sound for me and trying to be away from the crowds. See too much footage these days of video with "click click click " from the photographers stood next to the videoer !

Yes, I think the names were the property of DRS and were removed when they were sold
