He take too many sacks. He cannot move, he way too stiff and he don't knw how to fall! He's trying to stay on his feet while getting bent by D-linemen. He may have went to the Superbowl, but he's not better than Lamar as a NFL QB. Even if his arm is slightly better, he can't move in the pocket. The Bengals are going to have to spend a lot of $$$ to keep him safe.
@@GuyRBrewer109 Um I’m sorry but nobody mentioned Lamar. Even so, I haven’t seen Lamar in the playoffs do anything close to what Burrow did in this postseason.
@@Isaac-eh6uuI would let a 350 pound linemen to take me down gently rather than trying to escape and get body slammed it’s the smart move for a qb once your line lets 3 guys through
That’s overly simplified…Rams offense laid a beating down on their defense and would’ve done worse if OBJ didn’t get hurt so that wasnt the only reason.
rarely does any team have star players at every position level. Putting together an O-line sacrifices other positions. This is what the bengals wanted. They took Chase 5th overall when they knew their O-line was a mess. Instead of going for Offensive line, they went receiver. So, this was the result.
@@brycemorrison4350 it was the right move by the bengals front office in my opinion cause we saw the leap burrow made with chase as his wideout, they have a special connection dating back to their college days, even if they grabbed Penei Sewell I highly doubt burrow would've made the leap he did without Chase, even buying burrow more time in the pocket doesn't matter as much if he doesn't have a true WR1 to throw to
He looks past all his checkdowns, probably eyeing Chase. Also is very stiff and doesn't avoid or leak out for throws. Not entirely on the offensive line.
QB’s get themselves sacked but he had no time for checkdowns, when the D-line is on you after the snap he instinctively has to try to get it his first read. Never had time for 2,3,4 etc
yall really blamed THIS AMOUNT of sacks solely on the OL lol. look at these highlights. He was just not that good at maneuvering in a number of those plays which resulted in sacks. cant put everything on the OL. its an excuse after so many times mentioning OLine OLine OLine
Multiple rushers most of the time. Also he faced a 41% pressure rate and was hit a lot. I do agree that some are on him but even that's with out being able to see downfield.
That could partially be it but it could also be that the receivers take too long to get open. Plus the OL collapses almost immediately each time, like they literally take several steps back before even making contact to push. A lot of those tackles his own OL is literally crowding/closing around him too fast and so he can’t see.
Going back to this, the overwhelming majority of these aren’t even his fault, he either has no time or his options aren’t there for short completions.
He runs into most of them or just doesn't even seem like he tries to avoid them. He is easy to sack.

So basically if they had an OL they would have been Super Bowl champs. It's amazing they even made it with that line.
Nah

Speaks to how good Joe Burrow is

Bro Titans just slaughtered him!
Titans defense has that game but tannehill lost the, that game.
I couldn't believe it. I kept thinking "this has to be the last one" and then BOOM!!!
Jeffery Simmons
still relevant lol
BRO JEFFERY AT 1:00…. One of the best plays ever by a DT

Good observations...Sometimes an appendectomy can wipe you out for a few months, so let's hope he is one of those guys!

and they were still 3 points away from winning the super bowl… that’s insane.
burrow got sacked 9 times in the titans game and they still won
Me: is joe burrow bad or is it is OL burrow: no it my OL JEZZ.
Now that the Bengals got an O Line.. WATCH OUT.. Bengals o Line was by far the worst in the NFL.. And they still made it to the Super Bowl 😳
Not even close casual
You sign one mediocre tackle and draft another one in the 4th round and that's going to fix that mess? Ok. Get the stretcher ready.
oh..
o line is still 💩
Lol this aged well
Bruh they need a new line
New line same result.
This is why he keeps getting injured they need an o line and d line

Nah that line is horrendous
I definitely saw one sack that was on the oline, #75 just let a titan d lineman right by him untouched
Aloy of those sacks are his fault. Ball needs to come out at the end of his drop and he needs to do a better job of stepping up if he needs more time.
Lol
Okay hear me out, what if Burrow just takes too long to throw the ball?

This is beautiful. If only my Chiefs could get this man down
They are so far.
Shows how poor chiefs DLine is and how good that Cincinnati defence cause Burrow was very average all plauoffd
