After updating my Summit on 2june 2024...as prompted by Components.......i see ver 126.618 in my Summit screen..... on my Windows computer, Components says ' Your Summit is up to date and running Vcustom, build 2126, FPGA:778. Is this normal?.... or not correct?....i dont see a ver 2.2 on the Summit screen

The summit has finally begun shipping! Http://www.MajorOSC.com there's a killer patch bank available for the summit and it's on sale to celebrate the arrival of the summit! Plus anyone who picks up shockwave who owns a summit will be forwarded a summit edition of shockwave as a merry Christmas bonus. Def worth checking out guys! Calc from novation picked it up too a while back too just to prove it could be loaded into a summit. :)
Great features, nice effects ... But I want to hear some big brass sounds , leads ... Please ?! I can't find an example ... It's like ,they will keep this in background if you know what I mean. What I know for sure ... It has nice keys ... Yes! (The same SLMk series) I think most of the people want to hear some classical sounds.
Brass sounds are outdated.
Dankmar Tiny is the biggest!

If it is really better than two Peaks, I want a desktop version! Don't want to pay for and find a place for keys.
Absolutly! Peak is allready awesome but a desktop summit would be just way better!!

I can't hear any phat sound from Summit, not even long evolving lush and warm sounds. Still waiting for a demo, anywhere, that covers these two sonic territories.

@@Evian457 Thank you, I watched the video!! Still very digital depths, not any real warmth... I need distinctive personality from a hardware synth and, for what I hear of Summit, Zebra or Diva already have all those sounds in my laptop (maybe Waldorf Kyra, or old good Virus have that sound I'm after...).
