Is there any chance you could do a reading climb for the classical/steinitz french defense?? I'm sorely in need of ideas and to see some played examples with explanation behind the ideas in that opening for black. I've thoroughly enjoyed many of your videos and find your thoughts explained extremely helpful, I was just hoping maybe you could help an aspiring french player out lol.
@@AlexBanzea No worries I just wish you would have left the moment unedited. It is a very relatable moment for untitled players such as myself. I like your content keep up the good work :)
I think mostly for Rapid and Blitz. It can work from time to time in classical too, but I wouldn’t recommend as main opening for 1800+ (for sure it’s playable below that).
I was wondering if you could do a video (or maybe just reply with some helpful tips, like positional ideas of the openings) on one of these 3 openings! Vienna (g3 setup), closed Sicilian, or the Caro-Kann, Advance Variation, Van Der Wiel Attack! Ive been studying those openings myself but I feel with the help an IM like you, who knows a lot more about chess than I do, I would learn a lot more. Thank you, Pizmos.
Check out the whole series:

You tried to castle but forgot about the bishop. I do that almost every day.
I wake up in the night with that nightmare lmao
@1:39 would it be better to do horse c2? That way you can fork and capture their queen?
But the knight from e4 also moves back! Funny thing, that’s also what my father asked lol
2:47 there is a jump in the video where you try to castle short (illegal move) and your clock suddenly goes down 17 seconds
Sometimes you just forget how the bishop moves 🤷♂️🤷♂️

3rd game is one of the smoothest I've seen.. Just so much good thinking
Thanks a lot. Opponent helped a bit hehe
@@AlexBanzea just found this channel.. I'm sold! Just a good format of teaching.. Perfect speed with a little challenging thinking.
@@isaacbernath welcome to the channel bro! New rating climb starting tommorow. 🎥✅
Can you do a series on the Dragon? :) love your vids
Not in the near future, but definitely at some point! Thanks a lot
I just found your channel.
It is instructionally quick paced with a brisk post game look over.
I feel it is an ideal method of learning.
Thank you ❤️
10:03 such a nice mate
Alex, would you recommend the Fort Knox for standard the controls or only as an occasional weapon in Blitz?

Thanks for the French Series
You mentioned in an earlier video that you were going to make a chessable course on the french, is this still the plan? 🥖🗼🐌
Hey! Not in the near future. Perhaps after the London System course, but can’t say for sure now.
@@AlexBanzea I look forward to your chessable courses. Especially interested in the Fort Knox and exchange variations.
Fort Knox might be the only halal variation of the french
Its pretty brutal..
What do you mean with “halal”?
@@AlexBanzea I usually dislike the french, but this variation looks interesting
@@AlexBanzea something like Kosher, but for Muslims..
I wish the French defense was called differently, like the Ukrainian defense or something. To put it mildly, I have some issues with Frenchies.
