I still struggle with her judgement of character. Everyone including her saw Trump’s personality before he became president and yet she still chose to vote for him and work alongside him and support his agenda. Sorry not a fan.
I was dying to know what he said to her when they shook hands. Aww I'm so happy he acknowledged that to her and she got to hear it from him. I admire her too. It is brave what she did. It's not easy to do what she did and Alyssa whether you agree on her politics or not is a woman of integrity. I wish I knew her personally cause there are not many people like her. She has no ego about her and displays humility often. She's a principled person and I know she respects that in others too. Congrats on the home!
Alyssa was a fantastic hire. She's intelligent and articulate. I appreciate her POV and the clever way she brings a different POV without stressing or creating unnecessary drama and conflict. She's a breath of fresh air and what we need more of in these awful days of vitriol, vulgarity, partisan extremism, and propaganda. The contrast between her superb skills and McCain's is day and night. Meghan was extremely unpleasant and difficult to watch. Alyssa brings sophistication and nuance to diverse political views. Bravo, Alyssa and The View, for hiring the right person!
I don't agree with Alyssa's point of views but she is a great addition to the table. She's well spoken, doesn't need to scream her points of views across the table like some that shall not be named used to.

I think Alyssa is a gem! I'm not a Republican, but she conveys her point of view clearly and succinctly. Her demeanor is non-defensive, professional, and classy (she comes to the table well-informed and offers useful suggestions). I'm so glad The View didn't change its lineup this season. I love them all: Sunni, Sara, Alyssa, Joy, the iconic Whoopi, Ana and Brian.

I appreciate Alyssa so much. I’m always shocked the other women don’t ASK her more about her time with Pence or Trump or in politics in general. Or about her experience with other conservatives. That there isn’t more curiosity from the ladies. She has by far the most unique and high-level political and strategic political experience. In a time when we need to understand Trump voters and to build bridges, Alyssa and Sara do it the most. Are best listeners, most curious and approach each topic pragmatically. And offer unique insights. It’s very appreciated and I look up to Alyssa. How to stay calm and graceful when people are interrupting or talking over you. Or dismissing you (or were hostile like Sunny was for quite a while).
When she just joined the View, lots of questions were asked of her about her experience working with Pence.
@@robert7567 there was actually a lot of hostility that came with those questions. It’s not the same. She has a strong point of view in all the current issues and she knows so many of the people involved. So they could ask for her thoughts sometimes. She does that to the other experts (Sunny, law; Whoopi, the arts; Joy, comedian). It shouldn’t be a one-time thing. Again, politics is the biggest topic right now and she’s very very smart and strategic. And she knows the voters Dems need. So it’s very annoying that people are okay with her getting constantly interrupted or spoken over with the same old same old when this is her area of expertise. And her strategic thinking (not the same old emotions and outrage) is badly needed.

Some of the other hosts are jealous of her intelligence. Sunny still enjoys giving Alyssa disgusting looks . Sunny is not as bad at belittleling Alyssa as she used to because of public feedback. Jealousy is a horrible look Sunny.

While I enjoy Alyssa - sometimes - I still give her the side eye for working in an administration she knew was racist and misogynistic from the beginning and one that pedaled in bold face lies. I don’t understand why and how she and others did it. And I’m not giving any of them who decided to part with the administration after Jan 6. They don’t get brownie points for what is basic civics. It’s very hard to square their “this is the line for me!” when to many of us, the line had been crossed millions of times.

What struck me was that Biden's color was so good and that he looked so much better rested on The View. He had been pushing himself to handle a schedule that would have been difficult for a much younger person with meetings in India and the Middle East. No matter how fancy your plane is, your body is still going to react to the change in time zones. Biden has really taken his role as one of the important role models of the free world very seriously. Americans have been blessed to have him and Harris there to put things back together again. Fortunately or unfortunately, these remaining trumpsters will never know just how badly djt left the country when he was forced out of office and out of the White House.

Love this" Behind The Table" episode by Brian Teta. Please continue this. Don"t ever stop. We come to know the hosts more. Alyssa is such a sweet lady. She has a pleasing personality, likeable and most of all gave the show a positive spin even though she's a Republican. Oh don't forget I love ANA N too. I remember Alyssa and her friend, the blonde hair girl I don’t remember her name talking about right after the insurrection and I was so proud of her for speaking out. But I knew she was gonna turn as soon as everything calm down, but she did not, and as a mom and a grandmother. I am so proud of her as her family should be. She is conducted herself in a professional manner speaking in terms everyone can understand, and she is hold true to her beliefs about the traitor, and what actually happened in that office. Ms Buckley despises T and both she and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber filed a Cease and Desist order, forbidding T from playing the song at any of his public appearances. He still plays it in the club dining room at Mar A Lago, but that is technically a private setting.

I’m pretty liberal, and The View finally got it right with AFG. She’s fills the same role on The View that Jessica Tarlov fills on Fox News. She is super intelligent, insightful and respectful. I love hearing her opinions and viewpoints, but I also think the other ladies can sometimes run over her a little too hard (especially Sunny, but luvya Sunny!) I wish they would let her finish her thought more often but instead they railroad over her just to re-state something they already said. Keep up the good fight Alyssa, even those of us on the left are rooting strongly for you!!! ❤❤
I like Alyssa, not always agree with her perspective but I love the way she stands on her point firmly while respecting and listening to others. I feel like she is a true conservative voice on the table. Again, I am not either a Democrat or Republican, even not an American. Just an international student here who is interested in U.S. politics.
