Surely the greatest tone shift in gaming history is the one that comes shortly after, when Cloud & co. ski down the side of a mountain collecting balloons and dodging snowmen despite having tragically lost their comrade just a few minutes earlier? Let's be honest, that was even more jarring. Tonally, FFVII is all over the place.
@@Harpsibored 10/10 would wait all night for more results like this. Do you do your own mixing and mastering? You get such a rich tone. Is this a home studio?
Simply amazing. The tune itself is still haunting, but the sounds of your harp make it really calming. Ideal for listening to while writing on stuff. Thank you for the 1 hour version too, and keep it up.
Thank you so much, glad you like it ❤️ yeah it's interesting how the harp can slightly transform eerie tunes. Will try and do another similar one within the next few weeks, maybe in time for Halloween. Hehe.

This is hypnotizing in so many levels. It helps me a lot to concentrate while I'm working and it is, in the same time, hautingly beautiful. Everytime I pay more attention to the music, I get a different detail - an unheard echo or even the noise of the strings being played that kind look like a tickling clock or a metronome sometimes and bring an immediate connection with the Rebirth version. Ever wanted to live in a song or in the ambiance that it generates? This is one that makes me wonder how would it be.
With hands full of soap and clutching a knife now and then, ( just washing dishes) I listened to this, but upon listening, I couldn't help but realize how much of a big deal I make things when I shouldn't. I envision Cloud raising his sword to poor little Aerith there in that moment, and it makes me wonder why I've always been so hard on myself about stupid things. It makes me think of when I recently went on a trip where we had to drive next to a cliff by the ocean with the vehicle so close and next to a thousand foot drop at many points throughout the hour, causing my hands to sweat, then I imagine Aerith floating belly up like a skewered fish. I imagine the cliff next to me again, then I see my living room where I'm safe. Gaaahhh, this track is so bittersweet, but I love it! I erased so many things from this post, but this song is so reflective to me, it's hard not to just ramble on for days. I need to be careful here hahaha. Thanks Harpsi for this self reflective moment due to this extended version. It makes me think about how short life is and we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves over meaningless things. I think I've become a better person after this somehow. Thumbs-up as usual. 👍 👍 🎶 🎵⛰️ 🚘🌅 🔴🔵🟢
