Emma is a musical genius and that talent extends in a lot of directions. The song she wrote in twenty minutes (or was it ten) and sang in the car was brilliant and very relatable to others in her age range. She makes minor adjustments in songs she regularly sings to improve. Many of her adjustments make the song much more emotional and spiritual. She easily hits the soul of her listener and draws them into her song and her soul. Very powerful. She is going somewhere for sure!

Due to her physical condition, she can not give a regular show. So to be part of Andre's team is a perfect solution. They are traveling the world, she is collecting standing ovations, there is a full orchestra who will take care of here. Kimmy Skota was part of the team, but she disappeared. So there is an open space for her. Good luck Emma.

I love Emma’s singing. I admire that she has not allowed her problems hold her back. She has moved above and beyond that. Your reactions are great.

Her physical condition does not allow her to sing a full concert. So she can not be a 'regular" star. But she can go world touring with Andre and collect standing ovations. That is the best and safest place for her to be with a full orchestra to take care of her. You can see them watch her while she is singing. She is their fairy.

Whatever she sings, it becomes her song. And you can never again hear it or remember Emma, the Grand Little Lady.
And she sings with her hands. A shame they have given her a micro.

Awesome innit? I prefer the solo with piano support most of this version with Emma. You can really focus on her voice, which is absolutely mesmerising.
I hink the word you was looking for wasn't weakness, but vulnerability.
She manages to sound very vulnerable but in control. Not just her voice but the story she tells comes with a healthy dose of vulnerability.
I think by now, we know her medical background. Sure... Shit, but Okey... She lives with it and actually lives her dream.
Me personally am just interested in her voice and performances. They are of a superb quality.... For that I would like to take her age in consideration rather than her medical problems.
Still just 15 years old and singing a very adult part from this cover, but with the power of a grown adult. Convincing sort off speak.
    Amazing....
I love you analysis and genuine feeling about this artist.
No need for comparing with others. All them young hitters on RUclips are awesome in their own rights. Just like Emma is off this world with her performance.
I hope she really gets on the world stage. She already outgrown the "local claim'" from some fans, and with millions followers and fans worldwide she rapidly becomes a world artist.
And world artists don't deserve any local fan claim anymore...
    They belong to the world...
Thank you for sharing this.... You've got a new follower..
    👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌷

    Hello,
Thank you for your nice comment....
We are now half a year further after Hallelujha...
Emma has now returned with Andre Rieu after a World tourney to Maastricht, the birthplace of Andre and Emma in the south of the Netherlands where they
will perform 10 times in the coming month with Andre and his Johan Straus orchestra...on the Vrijthof, a square surrounded by 12,500 visitors
In the meantime she has attended various commemorations in the Netherlands
    sung...
O.a. the Military Cemetery with 8,000 American soldiers who died during the liberation of the Netherlands in WWII where they performed Father and Hero
Also The Hague and Grebbeberg where she also sang You raise me up.
Also at the liberation commemoration day in Amsterdam where she sang - When you believe - with April Darby
Enough for now to enjoy listening to.
I wonder if she will also release a new song during the new concerts with Andre

Lauren, you're clearly impressed with Emma, and that's totally understandable, every major video she's done over the last months has gone viral or better, Voila has over 40 million views now, and that's only on RUclips, and her Christmas releases have all gone over the million, or more, her star truly has risen and is shining so brightly.
This performance was so good, yet they let Emma down a little with the mixing, a few days later, she did a slightly different version again in the studio, and with only a piano backing, and this time, they gave her microphone the volume it needed, and the result is a stunning performance that's even more powerful than this one was, it can be found at
    ruclips.net/video/ma01DXvF5Vk/видео.html
I made a few suggestions in my comments on Voila, I don't know if you saw the comments, or if you watched any of those suggestions, but I will suggest a few other videos that are worth viewing, the first is a home recording with very little backing, a song that has deep meaning for Emma, it was recorded for Tube feeding week, a subject very close to her heart, it's a cover of a Miley Cyrus song, 'The Climb', and it's at ruclips.net/video/dOhzlDEuCBg/видео.html
Another song, from a Disney Film, 'The Little Mermaid', it's a cover of a Halle Bailey song, 'Part of your world, Ariel is expressing a deep yearing to leave the water and walk on land, effectively a complete change of her life and experience, and that's something that resonates so strongly with Emma. ruclips.net/video/itxs-aNyRJY/видео.html
In her 15 years, she will have no memories of being free from the equivalent of a boat anchor for 22 hours a day, they first put the 2 feeding pumps on her at 9 MONTHS, and she's had them ever since, so so many things that would be a normal part of childhood have been denied her, even now, her stamina is not great, more than 2 flights of stairs when carrying the pumps, or walking any significant distance is not always possible for her, she gives no appearance of weakness when she's performing, but it is an issue for her, and that's what is so good about her now being a part of Andre's orchestra and ensemble, she will be in 75 concerts around the world during 2024, and able to perform in all of them, but because Andre and his extended family know her so well, and are so close, they will very much take great care of her, and make sure that she's not pushed too far, or too fast, and we're already seeing that work out, she did a beautiful song during January while they were touring in Holland, Belgium and Germany, there's no 'official' version yet, so to get the full song, it needs two audience captures to show the important bits, Emma comes onto the stage and with a cheeky grin, raises a finger to ask for quiet, which she gets, and then with no guide note or introduction, she sings the first verse so beautifully a capella, and it rings out so clearly over tha huge audience, and then Andre adds the orchestra, then the chorus, the sopranos and the tenors, and as if to make it so clear how good she is, she then sings a counter harmony verse before Andre winds it down again to let her close it out, another sublime performance, and this is so early in the tour, I'm sure we'll see other special songs at different venues over the year, I'm very hopeful for something special in Dublin for the two concerts in Ireland, this song is Ein Bisschen Frieden a song in german, originally sung for Eurovision in 1982, the first video is a short, so needs to be stopped to go on to the second video, I'm hoping that before too long, there will be a full release of this song
    ruclips.net/user/shortsi-eX4AGKbIM
    ruclips.net/video/aC-QtYbGRoE/видео.html
People who know me will know what's coming, and I make no apologiess for repeating it on a regular basis, Emma's life is so hard, and there are so many challenges that she's risen above, and determined that they will not define her, I am so impressed with her incredible personality in the face of so many different issues that she has had to confront.
A closing heartfelt plea to everyone reading these comments.
Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl
If at all possible, please join me in making a (regular) donation to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease, and hopefully find a cure.
One of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day.
It would be wonderful news to hear that they have been able to change the outlook for Emma and others, it would be tragic if Emma were unable to continue to sing like she does, while she looks stunning on stage, her stamina is not good, so it is a very delicate balance to maintain her health, it would be so good to hear that the situation has been changed by the work the foundation are doing, Emma would then be free to spend more time doing what she loves so dearly.

You may like this by Emma which she performed yesterday (Tuesday 9th April 2024) at Madurodam, The Hague, Netherlands. It was for the Childrens' National Story Day. She sang John Lennon's 'Imagine'. Emma sang it almost A Cappella, being barely accompanied by a piano. It was nice. The video quality isn't great but the audio is pretty good giving 4 minutes of bliss.
