    I saw a woman with this hair style recently and I was tactful and I *did not ask her questions about it*. I'm so grateful you made this video. I am in awe at your skill at making yourself go from very beautiful to drop dead gorgeous. Well done. :)

    Guurrrl!! Now THIS is how to do a tutorial !! Clear and precise, no endless chattering and enjoyable to watch. Great music too! I LOVE all your vids and you inspired me to go natural! Currently in my awkward length stage but I can't wait for it to grow a bit more so i can rock this style out!! (btw this is my first time ever commenting on Utube, but i just had to thank you! :)

    I never knew or understood what black men and women went through regarding their hair, especially if they keep it natural, until I came across a natural hair tutorial a few days ago. I thought it was a lot of work keeping up with my own naturally curly and frizzy hair compounded by the fact that I have mine dyed blues and purples. I have serious respect for y'all and think natural is absolutely stunning. I will never again complain about my hair! Its a cakewalk compared to some of the hair I've discovered in the last few days.

    Seriously, I love your videos! I'm from Brazil and, unfortunately, we don't have here most of the products you use. I'm trying to substitute them for some similar that I can find here. And I'm showing your videos for lots of black girls here too, because it's really important have videos like yours to make us more powerful! X

    I wish so badly that I had African American hair because you can do a super cute hairstyle like this, cornrows, rock a Afro, and so many cute hair designs but I'm white 😐😐. Most people might think I'm weird but I wish I had that cute curly hair even though it might be difficult to take care of but my future job in a few years is to be a hairstylist so when I graduate high school I'm off to beauty school

      Anna I feel the same way! I’m in cosmetology school right now and there is very little curriculum geared towards natural ethnic hair. I’m fascinated by the versatility African-American people have with their hair. I’m saving this video to practice on my ethnic hair mannequin, I love it! Good luck with your future studies! It is worth it! 👍🏻🙌🏻

    Good morning TheChicNatural you have the best videos on you tube! I thank you for all your tutorials. You're very patient and take excellent care of your hair. Thank you for showing the hair and product's you use:-) I'm so proud of you. How long can you leave crochet braids in before they become tangled? What's the fastest way of taking them out? Have a blessed day! Bless those hands!

    • @thechicnatural
      @thechicnatural  10 лет назад +14

      Hi Pamela! I had mine in for 4 weeks. I think 4-6 wks max would be a good timeframe for them. To remove them I cut the Marley hair down low, unraveled my cornrows underneath and the knot slipped out- very easy.

    honestly girl, just went through an involuntary botched big chop that was supposed to be a trim...been crying over it its so bad. but your styles for short hair make me feel a bit better. i can no longer do wash n gos after this chop, which was my style of choice. this vid is really inspiring and gives me some hope that i can still make my hair look cute somehow just will take some more time and effort instead of wash n go. your hair looks amazing in this vid! such a beautiful and on point style. will try it tonight

    Super great video!!! Very straight to the point and no long ass talking. LOL To questions for you...1. When you say you do a semi stretched hair, does that mean you blow dried it out? 2. Once you are complete separating the curls, what is your night time routine to keep the curls? Do you do like big two strand twists or do you just tie it down?

  • @daejtwist9552
