IN hindsight I wish tehy had gone with more of Akira's original idea to have Dr Gero be the true main antagonist. They could have had the entire thing happen over the world, the Red Ribbon Army returning to Earth once more and actually taking over the planet, actual stakes and having the truth come out as to who defeated King Piccolo, the Red Ribbon Army and the Freeza Army which was never even known to Earth save for the farmer who was killed by Radditz and the city that was destroyed by Nappa and Vegeta. The people came back and the buildings were restored but they knew that they died and that is never addressed in the show. My beef with Dragon Ball is that it never went on a more mature way for the show. The entire setting is only happy go lucky because we follow Goku's adventures not the everyday person. And then and there have thge world grow as it did when we followed Goku during original DB. The king of the world comes forth and confirms everything, have Cell capture him or Dr Gero or Dr Ger's mind inside the computer making a wish to come back and that happening meaning he accounted for his own demise with a plan B and so own. You know, grow with t he audience instead of actually having the show get more kid firendly and I am not talking about having Gohan's neck broken when fighting Nappa. That was just Akira trying to make things serious and not really doing a good job. Do you know when he did a good job? When trunks went super sayan after Gohan's death in the future. That trunks was like 11~12 I think, and even that was pushing how young you could become super sayan. Gohan going SS when, what, 7 and Goten when 3 is just nonsese. I like DB, however it is need of a rewrite I am not talking "Karen rewrite" I am talking "audience 16+ for original DB and onwards, make it mature only if you need." Also, Vegita, sorry, never bought the prince of all sayans becoming an Earth person. He was a psycopath his entire life, why would he change for Earth, if anything have him have a life in outer space and rebuild his sayan empire, have him decalre himself King Vegeta already enough with the Prince Vegeta nonsense. Have Goku grow up to be if not a hero at least an actual person, same goes for Yamcha who needs to grow up. The guy came back from the dead and withstood the gravity chamber times 300 which was what Vegeta was using though I ma not sure if he was using SS and even if he wasn't if we go by what the anime says Goku had a power level of 90k when he got on Nmake I can only imagine that you need that much to walk in a gravity of 100 and here we have Yamcha of all people even if only crawling still able to move at a gravity of 300. Goku was under a gravity of 100 and hurt, true, but he was able to move and only trained under a gravity of 50. I would say that Yamcha could train perfectbly fine in a gravity above 100 by that logic and he never learned kaioken, imagine if he had. The humans were sidelined too soon, too fast. I could go on but my point is that DB is too kid friendly and needs more maturity, maturity does not equate to violence, it includes violence but is not only violence to be clear. Also, just have Shenlong make a wish to heal Goku's head. The guy is like that ever since he hit it when he was a kid, he has brain trauma or something and nobody addresses it, just call him stupid. You have magic DBs that could fix that, smae for Yamcha and krillin who could use it to become taller or something if he wanted or master Roshi/Kame to make himself younger.

I can come up with an idea like I justsuggested but I have not gone through all the play by play for the characters, it's more like a what if with a general idea. Also, now that I stopped to just look at all the paragraphs I wrote I realized it was quite a lot and at most it would be a pitch for an idea. I had not realized I wrote that much to be honest. I sort of just kept going with an picture of what it could have been. Also, thank you for saying it wasn't half bad, if anything I was worried people not like because it was a long text all things considered and so far i just did that for fun.
