If you want minimalism, why complicate it with a melody that may not work or fit within "minimalism?" or are you just looking to find fault, and not appreciate for what it is, rather than what you want out of it, that doesn't suit you?
One of the many reasons why I love The Creatures even more than I do the Banshees. Not perhaps most peoples idea of minimalism but I would argue that that (admittedly totally unnecessary!) categorisation of much of their music is no less appropriate than any other! I keep hearing that there are loads of great new bands out there. Have to say I've yet to hear any of them and I'm bloody positive none of them sound like The Creatures but then who ever did?
Great sound ! If you like Indie music and find underground artist, I suggest you to discover a new one by writing *"Niko Laetailleurs"* in the you tube search bar. Perhaps, you'll find some good vibrations...
