I love how the phone number for his legal office is just the Betty Crocker cake pan ad from 2006.
The service dog question is actually really interesting bc 1. The business had the right to kick the dog out because it was misbehaving (continued and without correction) but 2. Businesses are only legally protected to ask if it’s a service dog required for a disability and what tasks it performs. If there is video proof that the dog was misbehaving, I imagine that the fine would have no legal backing as the dog was not behaving as a service dog and would therefore NOT be protected under the ADA and those questions mentioned wouldn’t even matter. Also, the employee shouldn’t be the one being fined, it would be the company that was liable due to improper training of the employee
Commenting in case that person sees: just submit this information to HR (esp time and date it happened) they should protect you with actions performed under managements discretions while at work
True - you were at work, performing a work role, at work property, and (assumedly) wearing a work uniform. You were representing the company, there's no way they would/could rightly pursue you as an individual

Its 2023 how are people still taking 'better help' sponsorships?!
All I can think of is that the company has changed somehow.
@@WolfanTerror Their latest scandal that I know of happened in March of this year so I highly doubt it, but who knows.
My guess is that PR is burying as much of the backlash as possible, and the company offers enough of a fat stack that a RUclipsr can’t think of refusing if they don’t know or don’t care about how shitty BetterHelp is as a company
@@Polyeurythane I guess. I mean I love Noel but if a company is offering you such a fat stack then maybe you should make an effort to at least google them before saying yes especially if it deals with such a delicate topic like mental health.

But for real, if it's that big a deal to you, just leave. If you're really that concerned about how "scummy" you think the company is, maybe actually do something about it. Complaining in the comment section of a RUclips video is kinda pathetic.
@@mhm5483 it's far too complicated to explain in a single comment, but one of their many problems is that their "therapists" aren't actually professionals
@@heghog8238 could it be because the term “therapist” doesn’t actually need certification? My psych professor told us that people who call themselves therapists arent legit.
@@heghog8238 that sucks to hear, a youtube therapist i respect has been advertising it lately so i had assumed it was legit
So there’s someone who comes into my work and she informed us that you are fully allowed to have a service dog leave if it is *not* acting like a service dog. OMG me & my gf said the same hahaha
@zakkmars7201 he did a bit saying the times he really wants to die is during those mental help adverts (meaning better help), sorry if I butchered the joke lol
@@WeirdHardcore it's alright. hard to have a comedic delivery over text. Is it because he hates the shit they have him say for it? Or a better question is why in general
@zakkmars7201 I think he made a joke about thinking he was a sellout for doing ad reads, he also said they where filming the show so maybe you'll get to see it soon since you can't make the shows! ❤️
So why do "service dog papers" exist if no one is supposed to ask for them?
That’s how I feel too. I want to gag whenever I see the commercials for “get your pet certified as ESA” (emotional support animal, requires no training or obedience at all unlike actual service animals). Just so ppl can bring their dogs cats etc. in public, restaurants businesses and more, and ignore the pet rules entirely. I think it’s gross.
@@DKF_oli Oh no way, I assumed the woman in the story was making a ridiculous claim but it's legit then? USA is wild, it's like people can sue over almost anything. Even victims get sued god damn.
Actual service dog papers don’t exist. There is no National registry or certification for service dogs. Some states do offer registration through health and human service departments but it’s not required bc that adds an extra layer of difficulty for disabled people and would call for increased regulation of training. Under the ADA, handlers are allowed to owner train which can be really helpful since professional training can cost anywhere from $4k to $50k but at what point would you get the dog registered? When it’s still in training? Bc most states protect service dogs in training even if they aren’t very far along. If that’s when they’re registered then what keeps fake service dogs from being registered? It’s a wayyyyy bigger issue than it seems. (I’m a service dog handler btw)
That really seems like a situation that should be an "either everyone has to do it or no one has to do it" situation but I do get that things are already difficult enough for people who are disabled. I don't think anyone should be able to sue for being asked for such papers though. Also, what happened to the right to refuse service? Is that not a thing anymore?
I saw Noel in Glasgow, the show was awesome. I'd definitely recommend anyone get a ticket and go to one of his shows!
The title story sounds like it was written by a high ranking MLM consultant, who thinks "Karen" is a slur.
If that dog groomer didn't have her own business, she would've been fired immediately lol. Something almost similar happened at a dog daycare I worked at except none of the dogs escaped, fortunately. She accidentally left the gates open while the other staff was desperately trying to call her attention (she had earphones) and on top of that was caught smoking weed. I don't know why she smoked weed near the building, I would park a little ways away and smoke during my lunch break.
Nole williams be like : " did you know I'm Filipino? Constitution says i am "
kinda insane that you cant ask for service dog papers bruh
i like, get it.. cause it’s discriminatory towards disabled people. but it’s also just so terrible not only for disabled people who have real service dogs but other people in general to just willy nilly fake having a service who doesn’t know how to behave like service dogs do. of course though it’s mostly on the people who bring their dogs around everywhere pretending they have a service dog that are terrible/makes it hard for disabled people.
but yeah it’s hella discriminatory against disabled people because no one else is forced to provide papers to be let in somewhere that’s public so why do that to disabled people to be let in somewhere?
it’s definitely not an easy problem to solve though for the people who are faking it cause they only make it hard for disabled people who ALREADY have it hard.
@@hellkitty98 I don't really see whats discriminatory about asking for service animal papers....
It's just something you should carry with you if you have a service dog. Is it discriminatory to have to have your driver's license with you when you're driving, it's the exact same.
The only thing this law does is make it so easy for people with fake service animals to take their untrained animals everywhere and cause real harm.
@@hellkitty98 there’s gotta be a solution cuz dogs pretending to be service dogs is actually dangerous. You can buy a service dog vest easily online. People just suck
@@WolfanTerror there are no such things as ‘service dog papers’ or a ‘service dog registry’. They just don’t exist, any places selling them online are scammers. The issue with asking for them from disabled people are that they don’t exist and do not have the legal power to allow someone to enter a store with their dog just because they have these ‘papers’. To combat fake service dog’s businesses are allowed to remove a dog from their premises if the animal is out of control or poses a direct threat to others health or safety, and are allowed to ask service dog owners two questions: ‘is this animal a service animal?’ And ‘what tasks has this animal been trained to perform?’. Hope this helps!

Me and my sister just saw you in Sheffield Noel, your set was amazing man! ❤️🙏🏼
oh man i was really hoping you posted today so i could eat my chipotle tacos. and here we are ❤
I’m still so confused as to why companies in the US don’t teach their employees especially management about service animals. Because technically if your mistreating someone who has a legitimate service animal and making them leave just because there’s an animal then it could be a problem. Also it can be harder on people with disabilities to get harassed on some places because of their service animals, just trying to live life.
Also I would like to say two things! First off if that lady’s dog was jumping on the counter and barking then it prolly wasn’t a service animal based on the rules 🤔. That’s one of the things that constitutes being a service animal is not causing issues or making noise in public spaces. Second there is no “paper work” like idk what your manager was asking you to get but that’s not a real thing there is no centralized system with papers to keep up with service animals in the US
It’s basically left to the individual to defend their rights as someone who needs a service animal. I mean basically you need to have a disability or psychiatric issue that needs the help of a service animal, and the animal needs to be trained and have specific responses for something dealing with their disabilities.
The US doesn’t really regulate it like a drivers license. Also I don’t think they technically need a device vest or tag on either. Mainly it’s being calm and well mannered in public and having tasks the dog is trained to complete and also just being trained for service. There is no required tags, vest or papers. So idk why companies aren’t trained to understand where the businesses rights are at least management. I have seen people with legit service animals getting harassed in stores or public places while the dog was following the rules. It’s a weird thing in the US ….
Last thing your legally not allowed to ask for paper work or documentation or what their disability is. You can only ask “is this a service animal?” And “what work or task has the dog been trained to perform?” … and if the dogs making noise and acting wild you can ask them to leave . From what I know if the animal potty’s inside or is out of the owners control you can ask them to leave from what I know
These betterhelp ads make me wanna kms
My favoriete RUclipsr, nole miller
Noel super weird but when I signed up for better help via the ad link, they said you aren’t a therapist? I think they must have a glitch in their system?
three thumbnails in 5 hours is crazy😂
Service dogs should be required to have paperwork verifying that they're actual service dogs. SO many people abuse the laws "protecting" people who use them.
All that those laws are good for, is make it easier for some spoiled punk to let her Chihuahua shit in the middle of your local grocery store.
The sad part is that it makes life harder on the people who are actually disabled and or need service animals because they don’t have paper work to show someone. I mean it’s weird that the laws are there but the US doesn’t regulate it at all really.
I mean it’s great for someone who needs a service animal because they can do it with out needing to jump through hoops to get a paperwork. I mean getting doctors and stuff to sign off on things like getting disability checks can be hard any way so I imagine it would end up making many people not be able to afford their service animals if they where required to be registered and approved.
The thing is if the dog is acting up or potty’s inside and is not quiet then you can ask them to leave. I think that it’s mainly the companies fault for not training their employees what the laws are and how to deal with it. Because that woman’s dog jumping on the counter is enough reason to ask her to leave the store from what I know. Also the store asking for paperwork is against the law as well 🤔so like neither one did the right thing 😂
People lying and using “service animal” does hurts people who need those animals and makes it harder to do things in public for sure. There are people who get harassed because companies don’t train their employees correctly and they also don’t know how to deal with the people lying who’s dogs are barking or acting up 🤔🤷🏼♂️
"jugs out, get the A, tuck 'em in, work at a waffle house" Jesus Christ
Ok, so this is especially for retail and restaurant workers, for people with service dogs, you can only ask 2 questions: Is that a service dog? and What is it trained to do? per the ADA. You can kick them out if the dog's being disruptive, but you can't ask to see papers or anything, which is dumb. I've never worked anywhere that's gone over that with me and when I was a little baby 16 year old working my first job, a lady chewed me tf out for asking about her service dog. Didn't know the person was the one that got the fine and not the company though
