In the midst of all that upheaval you still decluttered and organized! Proud of you!

As much water as you’re getting in the basement, I would have a professional come out and see if you have a drainage issue (it seems like it). And how that issue could be addressed. I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with that. We had our basement flood last year, but it was just a one-time deal when our sump pump burned out in the middle of the worst rainfall in decades. That was enough. I honestly just can’t imagine dealing with it over and over for weeks/months.

Yes that's our next step. We know we likely need a French drain, but we want to put an addition on so we don't want to do it just yet, but I agree this can't continue! It's so exhausting 😭

We have a forgiving cottonrug in our entryway that is washable but a juterug is in my opinion the best for entryways. The dirt will gather under the carpet so Vacuum underneath twice a week and just shake the rug outdoor, no stains will show on the material. IKEA has great options. Key is to not have a small carpet though. For adult acne the only thing that has helped me is acnatac, a cream with antibiotics that you use for a couple of months, doesn’t bleach, doesn’t irritate the skin and the results lasted me a couple of years with only minor blemishes. I’m 38 and have gone through the treatment twice as an adult. Another thing that has helped is keeping skinproducts to a minimum. the more products, the more skinproblem I’ve had. An aha cleanser for night, micellarwater in the morning (no water) and a hydrating facelotion and occasionally zinkpaste for drying out breakouts. But acne treatment seems to be sooo individual, hope you find something that works for you and your son!

I'll definitely check out IKEA when doing the entryway, thank you for the ideas😊 I'll have to look into that cream, I've never heard of it...at this point I'll try anything!

I've just found out your channel and I'm subscribing right away as I love cleaning and declutter motivation. I was wondering in this one at the very end around 28:30 if the clothes in that box was for trash ? Haha I struggle so much to discard any clothes that can't be donated and also any nicer paper clutter like magazines, clothes stores catalogues/flyers that I always hope to see someone discarding some of those things in clean/declutter videos, but it seems like those things are always tossed off camera 🥲 I also just put those things either in a clean bag/box but it will most likely stay in the garage forever instead of mixing those things right away with any normal trash so I can't keep anyrthing 🤭 I see that you have a lot of declutter videos, I'll try to watch more of them hoping you've filmed that part in one of them and also just emptying any trash cans during the cleaning, I always find it so satisfying to feel the house is fresh again and les cluttered. Mostly those days just before garbage day when we try to find as much cans to empty and stuff to throw away right in time 😆

I am so happy you found my channel😊 the clothes I actually dropped off at Goodwill later that week. If they are in good shape I'll donate them for sure. If you do end up going back and watching some of my older decluttering videos you will see that I was so attached to magazines myself. I had hundreds of them. I was never able to let them go even after years. Slowly over time I started going through them and letting go of more and more and now I'm down to a very small amount. The thing that helped me was stopping subscriptions and not buying them anymore at the grocery store. I hope that helps. Thanks again for watching!

@@homesteadingdreams8046 I'm glad you were able to donate those ones, both because it's helping people in needs, and also because it means that you've didn't edited a part I want to see off the video haha. I will keep watching hoping to find few magazines get discarded and still clothes that can't be donated 😆 For the nicer paper clutter, even if it's just like some random clothes stores catalogues/flyers you receive without any subscriptions and not a declutter itself, it's already the type of clutter I would like to see get tossed while cleaning even if it's just a single item once in a while 😇
