- When the guys heard that the OHL was considering expansion in Niagara Falls, they assumed Ontario with its rich history of the Thunder and Flyers franchises. But the league is looking south of the border and making good on its pledge to expand "aggressively." There's also the story of "The Streak" and video that casts doubt on whether or not it continued last week. Plus, Jon Morosi joins the pod to talk USA Hockey and the guys are watching every team with The Wraparound.

Mike fired up and taking names! I like it! Great interview although I’m not even sure you got to ask a question lol. Enjoy your Western swing this weekend
For a baseball guy Jon Morosi seems to be very passtionate about hockey. That was a great interview with him.
OK, if expansion into the USA by the OHL is inevitable, then they shouldn't stop at one team but perhaps put two teams in western New York, one in the Niagara Falls area and another in a mid-size town such as Jamestown, then they should perhaps put another franchise in western Pennsylvania most likely in Pittsburgh/ Allegheny County. Another USA state that could be in line for an OHL franchise could be Ohio, a place that has a team in both the AHL and the NHL. It could be located in Toledo and Dayton. This expansion would make a 24 team league with two 12 team conferences, each with two 6 team divisions. There could then be an International Conference and an Ontario Conference. The Western Division of the International Conference would consist of Toledo, Flint, Saginaw, Windsor, Sarnia, and London; with the Eastern Division having Allegheny, Erie, Jamestown, Niagara Falls, New York, Niagara, Ontario, and perhaps Hamilton moving from Brampton. The Ontario Conference could configure with a Northern Division consisting of Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, Owen Sound, Barrie and Peterborough; and the Southern Division containing the teams in Brantford, Kitchener, Guelph, Oshawa, Kingston, and Ottawa. Please forgive the length of this comment, but the subject does include two things that interest me, sports and geography. One thing this particular league configuration would accomplish would be to put the London Knights in a different Conference then Kitchener.
I’d just like to note that Juri Fischers boy is our Captain - #13 #GoStingGo
@@JBAbullitt he sure is!
Hey Mike, where's your neat, hockey stick coat rack..?
You could hang your Royals jersey on it. 😉
@@kawboy14 was just thinking of adding that to the background! It might show up soon.
niagara and niagara falls in ohl? and ushl made statement saying they expect all teams to be in ushl next season so ohl expansion to muskegon/y'town probably not going down. So ohl can't get into ohio and may be looking at ny state option. Or could muskegon/y'town fold ushl franchises to join ohl? Word is folks in muskegon don't like ushl and would welcome move to ohl and rivalries with saginaw, flint so folding ushl franchise may be an option if usa hockey blocks move.
And spirit drafted fantelli 18th in '20 ohl draft knowing he was um bound. Spirit moved his rights to nb the following year when he didn't report and got a comp. pick in '22 first round they used to draft a guy named z. pareyk so along with misa first that draft spirit came out alright for drafting no show fantelli.
Rangers organization needs to shut up and leave cowan alone. tasteless
Why are you worried about it when it is not going to count as a record as it is over 2 seasons. Is it a great accomplishment yes it is but it will not stand as a record. As a Rangers fan I could care a less about his streak so just let it go and enjoy the games.
