Not to trashtalk, but absolutely awful save. I shat my pants as if I was in the passenger seat...same with the next clip. Not enough countersteer and then letting off throttle didn't help, then too much countersteer when trying to save it, rear end bounced back to the other side, too much countersteer again (iirc)... He didn't save it, the car slowed down and saved itself 😂 20kmh more and he was spinning Honestly after the rear end went to the right I was hoping he would 360 to save it because that's what my gut started telling me to do given how bad the situation was 😆
@@miner4236 right, like you’d handle it perfectly every time. We’ve all had saves like that and worse. I don’t remember all the times I’ve spun out in the sim, though only once on track
nice video. Have you considered going to a drift event to get more comfortable sideways? I recommend good luck league in california. It's an autocross-style cone course on a skidpad. I think it would help you to react in a more relaxed way when the rear end steps out. Again, nice video and nice car.
I have considered it but just havent had the time to do a proper skidpad/drift training. It's definitely something I want to do in the future. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them out!
I think you need to countersteer faster and catch the slide sooner. Instead of gradually trying to catch the slide which is leaving you behind and always trying to play catch up.
You're unsettling the rear of the car with your slow nudges.
1. I thought "wet Laguna Seca" is only possible with witchcraft weather mods.
2. That's how i call my wife..
Really nice save at 0:20! Why didn't the initial countersteer work though? Came off the throttle initially too late?
Maybe too much power coming into the turn?

drifty tiem
steering inputs look decent, but it looks like you're coming off the throttle too late, especially at around 0:24.

Did you leave the nannys on?
Used track mode, which is a "half off" on the nannies I think
