Quick introduction to LUCY: LUCY was original formed from JTBC's Super Band and they came 2nd in the entire show. After the program ended, their original vocalist Lee Juhyuk went back to his original band GIFT and the current main vocalist was brought in. During the program, LUCY's signature sound was Ambience Pop where they input surrounding sounds like water, animals and fireworks into their music. They are under Mystic Story, which was originally Gwangil's company. It feels like I just watched a really good movie with a happy ending and the credits are rolling. So glad I discovered and their music recently. They're incredible and their music is so, so good!

This is going to be long, but I think *LUCY's greatest strength is that the members truly bring out the best in each other* 💙 Gwang-il is the most admirable, hard-working, and TALENTED team-player I have ever seen. On Superband, you can witness the exact moment when Gwang-il takes on the drums for the first time "officially" (he practiced so hard from thereon that his palms developed tons of blisters, too). He came into the show as a vocalist, then a bassist + vocal, then he just magically transformed into a drummer + vocal. I was astounded by not only his perseverance, but also by the fact that he pulls it all off SO WELL !!!!!! HE IS SO AMAZING AT SINGING, I LOVE HIS VOICE. For his first official stage ("Hold Back the River") as a drummer he said, "Whether it be playing the bass, playing the drums, or singing, it doesn't matter. As a band member, I think the most important thing is that our band produces the best sound possible." He actually sacrificed so much for pre-Lucy during that time. he is so commendable and modest ;_; hence, SHIN(신= god) Gwang-il !!! 💙 💙 Ye-chan is undoubtedly Lucy's shining star. His violin sections do not clutter their songs: they enhance them billion-fold. Also, he REALLYYYY knows how to have fun on stage. Ye-chan's energy & high-tension is literally contagious, and sure, he knows how to play emotional, mellow songs, too, but when he's with the right sort of band, he ACTUALLY glistens on stage (one quote from pre-Lucy stage: "as long as there's drums I can definitely jump up and down with energy.."). he is such a mood-maker and his real-life charms are undeniable too :"))))))) 💙 Won-sang is such a squishy soul HAHA. All throughout the program, even to this day, he always displays uncertainty about his producing capabilities and he constantly expresses his fears about "not being good enough". BUT Y'ALL.... LISTEN TO THE COUNTLESS MASTERPIECES he has already made!! After the "Swim" stage, even the judges highly encouraged pre-Lucy to continue on the route they were going, because under Won-sang's producing lead, they had something really great going on. and now look at them!!! And his bass skills?? UHH??? i may not be a music expert but it is quite evident that he is an extremely skilled and respectable bassist as well :") After all, he's not Korea's ONLY musician to be recognized by Coldplay for nothing hehehe 💙 Sang-yeob... UGH Sang-yeob !!!!!! If im going to be completely honest, I barely remembered him during round 1 of the program. But as of late, after joining Lucy, Sang-yeob has frequently mentioned the same thing: "When I was making music alone, there was this limit that I would never cross. But after joining Lucy, I have been developing and learning in various ways. I have been given the chance to experiment with so many different kinds of genres, that I would've never done otherwise". If you listen to Sang-yeob's solo music, he almost sounds like a different person (in a good way)!! Now, as the vocalist of Lucy, there is SUCH a new dynamic to his voice: sparkling, poignant, and, daresay, deeper ?? Simply put, Lucy's songs & covers have unearthed such gorgeous, almost unexpected-compared-to-his-solo-days, potential in Sang-yeob's voice. (and i digress but, the man's heart??? always caring for fans?? offering counseling sessions?? doing IG lives & broadcasting a nighttime view while singing in the bg???? can I marry him?????????) Welp.. I think I mustered up (minimally) what I could with this.. Watching Lucy members come together and become what they are today has been so endearing and heart-warming. I LOVE THEM A LOT. I RESPECT THEM SO MUCH AS MUSICIANS. THEY ARE JUST ahghkjl so good y'all. so good. 💙

Violins indeed sound good in bands given the right music choice.. A band band in the Philippines named Ben & Ben also uses violins which made me a fan right from the get go..

-This band Lucy was created through the show called 'Super Band' where they placed 2nd.
-Their band name 'Lucy' is the name of the dog they always spent time with during 'Super Band' days.

This is going to be long, but I think *LUCY's greatest strength is that the members truly bring out the best in each other*
💙 Gwang-il is the most admirable, hard-working, and TALENTED team-player I have ever seen. On Superband, you can witness the exact moment when Gwang-il takes on the drums for the first time "officially" (he practiced so hard from thereon that his palms developed tons of blisters, too). He came into the show as a vocalist, then a bassist + vocal, then he just magically transformed into a drummer + vocal. I was astounded by not only his perseverance, but also by the fact that he pulls it all off SO WELL !!!!!! HE IS SO AMAZING AT SINGING, I LOVE HIS VOICE. For his first official stage ("Hold Back the River") as a drummer he said, "Whether it be playing the bass, playing the drums, or singing, it doesn't matter. As a band member, I think the most important thing is that our band produces the best sound possible." He actually sacrificed so much for pre-Lucy during that time. he is so commendable and modest ;_; hence, SHIN(신= god) Gwang-il !!! 💙
💙 Ye-chan is undoubtedly Lucy's shining star. His violin sections do not clutter their songs: they enhance them billion-fold. Also, he REALLYYYY knows how to have fun on stage. Ye-chan's energy & high-tension is literally contagious, and sure, he knows how to play emotional, mellow songs, too, but when he's with the right sort of band, he ACTUALLY glistens on stage (one quote from pre-Lucy stage: "as long as there's drums I can definitely jump up and down with energy.."). he is such a mood-maker and his real-life charms are undeniable too :")))))))
💙 Won-sang is such a squishy soul HAHA. All throughout the program, even to this day, he always displays uncertainty about his producing capabilities and he constantly expresses his fears about "not being good enough". BUT Y'ALL.... LISTEN TO THE COUNTLESS MASTERPIECES he has already made!! After the "Swim" stage, even the judges highly encouraged pre-Lucy to continue on the route they were going, because under Won-sang's producing lead, they had something really great going on. and now look at them!!! And his bass skills?? UHH??? i may not be a music expert but it is quite evident that he is an extremely skilled and respectable bassist as well :") After all, he's not Korea's ONLY musician to be recognized by Coldplay for nothing hehehe
💙 Sang-yeob... UGH Sang-yeob !!!!!! If im going to be completely honest, I barely remembered him during round 1 of the program. But as of late, after joining Lucy, Sang-yeob has frequently mentioned the same thing: "When I was making music alone, there was this limit that I would never cross. But after joining Lucy, I have been developing and learning in various ways. I have been given the chance to experiment with so many different kinds of genres, that I would've never done otherwise". If you listen to Sang-yeob's solo music, he almost sounds like a different person (in a good way)!! Now, as the vocalist of Lucy, there is SUCH a new dynamic to his voice: sparkling, poignant, and, daresay, deeper ?? Simply put, Lucy's songs & covers have unearthed such gorgeous, almost unexpected-compared-to-his-solo-days, potential in Sang-yeob's voice. (and i digress but, the man's heart??? always caring for fans?? offering counseling sessions?? doing IG lives & broadcasting a nighttime view while singing in the bg???? can I marry him?????????)
Welp.. I think I mustered up (minimally) what I could with this.. Watching Lucy members come together and become what they are today has been so endearing and heart-warming. I LOVE THEM A LOT. I RESPECT THEM SO MUCH AS MUSICIANS. THEY ARE JUST ahghkjl so good y'all. so good. 💙

Violins indeed sound good in bands given the right music choice.. A band band in the Philippines named Ben & Ben also uses violins which made me a fan right from the get go..
First time i saw violin in a band was the band named Yellowcard (like from my childhood -late 00's)
