Alhamdolillah I reverted to Islam 10 years ago, suffering from anxiety and depression. I’ve only started recently to read the Quran every day, one to two pages after Fajr prayer before going to work and one to two pages after Isha prayer before going to sleep. Alhamdolillah it has changed my life. One day without the Quran is a lost day.

I USED TO SUFFER WITH DEPRESION MY DOCTOR PUT ON ANTIDEPRESION.I TOOK IT FOR AWHILE UNTIL ONE DAY REALISED I HAD BEEB MISSING MY SOLAT AT THAT I THROW AWAY MY MEDICATION AND START PRAYINGAND READING MY KURAN .ALHAMDULILLAH I NEVER LEFT MY KORAN .I READ BEFORA FAJAR PRAYER AND AFTER MAGRIB PRAYER .ALLAHS HEALING MASHA ALLAH.SUBHANALLAH. I found this video, when I'm really in a worst situation of my life. Suffered form the Depression, got a pressure to leaves in a toxic enviroment and no one can hear me, no one come to heal me. From this I realize that It's better for us to never expect to human. They also have priority and other things to do. Every night I'm crying sudden and not know why am I crying about. But when Its time to pray 5 times a day. I try my best to never forget it read Qur'an and then now i feel so happy, my life is blessed and I know that peace of mind is when we close to Allah 😇

Lessons I have learned:
What is Quran?
1. Miracle
2. Medicine and cure to the diseases of heart
3. Act of Worship
We get sick in 3 ways:
1. External sickness like stomach ache, bone pain etc,
the solution is from Hadees of Aisha RA, the prophet SAW used to recite 3 quls and blow on his hands and rub on his body.
Thus have a certainty that QURAN is first source of cure not last.
2. Mental illness, depression.
The solution is attaching to QURAN to cure mental illness.
3. Diseases of the heart.
1st disease of heart mentioned in QURAN: love of dunia, for this love we cut relations, we have hatred for peoples etc.
cure: what ALLAH says dunia is?
ALLAH tells in surah Hadeed: Know verily this life is play, amusement, beauty, boost fullness between you(competition for example my child is in that school, i have best house in best neighborhood)
In surah Yunus ALLAH says, this dunia is like a rain sent it down to you, then water mix with vegetations and people animal eat from it then dunia becomes beautiful (like you got it all), and the people living on it think they have all of the dunia. OUR decree came in during day and night and WE made it ashes as this dunia was not beautiful.
This means dunia is temporary. People die and left dunia behind.
2nd disease of heart mentioned in QURAN, is arrogance.
ALLAH described in surah Qasas the story of Qaroon.
ALLAH says, Qaroon was from people of Moosa, he acted injustly, WE gave him wealth, the keys of the treasures its so hard for huge group of strong people to carry. People looked at him and said to him dont be arrogant because ALLAH doesn’t love it. Use what ALLAH gave you(money, wealth, stock, etc) by investing in Akhira. Qaroon responded I worked hard for it. And ALLAH responded immediately doesnt he know we have destroyed people way stronger than him. And those without knowledge said we want to be like Qaroon. And those who had knowledge said to him what ALLAH has is better than this.
In this story the cure is the knowledge that living in this dunia temporarily and working on akhira because what in akhira is better.
Each one of us have dunia, we have roof, we are safe in house, enough food for the day.
May ALLAH make us all from those who learn and implement the knowledge of QURAN and sunnah.
