Here you will see the wonder of new life in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park near Medora, North Dakota. Winter hangs on like a vengeance this far north, but the wild horses are very tough and enjoy the warmer weather. See the newest additions to the wild horses and marvel at the beauty of this place.

Such a variety of colors, the backlighting made for the regal appearance. I so hope they don’t keep removing them. They help make the West the iconic place it is.

How does one help to make sure the horses remain in the park?
Don’t understand the reasoning to remove them.

You can follow the groups on Facebook and send letters apposing the removal of the horses. Other than that, it's up to the government since it is in a National Park. They think the horses multiply too fast, yet they have over 500 Bison in the park.
