Damn! I hope this is as effective as it is beautiful. This is exactly how I picture AAV's if they were built by Apple, with input from Marques Brownlee (he loves Matte Black).
This company is very impressive. Who wouldn't want to be a part of this team? In a free open economy how do we keep this tech from our adversaries? Especially when our "friends" will eagerly pass it on for a buck? You can't at least not for long!
It feels like you started two different conversations there. Haha Totally agree with the first part though. Competition in this industry needs though to be going on even at high risk, otherwise the prices will just keep going up like they have for the past 25+ years. That’s what allowed the military industrial base complex to actually be famously wealthy in the first place. It had money before, but it was spread out with less singular influence. Now it’s become completely within a few limited companies over in the US. Whilst elsewhere around the world, including here in the UK and other European and Asian countries, it is starting to finally diversify.
It does not seem that this has any weapons bays or external hardpoints. But in the spirit of innovation perhaps there might be another way to employ weapons via downward firing guns. For example in an air to air engagement the Fury could fly directly at a air threat. As it passes that air threat (at close range) it rolls so as to point the downward firing gun at the target as it flies past it. This approach could be used against fighter aircraft, cruise missiles, helicopters, and UAVs (and perhaps even hypersonic missiles). The only defense an target would have is to either shoot down the Fury or turn and out run it, otherwise the probability of survivable of such a pass would be pretty low. Thus most jet fighters would likely then try to turn away, which in doing so would interrupt what ever was their mission and require them to make a second pass, which then the Fury could simply attack them again. This approach would not set well for a expensive manned aircraft but might work for a lower cost unmanned system. For a ground target it can over fly the target and adjust the cross range by rolling the aircraft. For this to be effective one would need a very high rate old fire gun system. The old Metal Storm technology could provide that. Even though the company that developed that went out of business the technology is still there waiting for a suitable problem to solve. The downward firing weapon might be one such problem. The angle that the gun points downward could be such that it fires a bit toward the aft of the aircraft to cancel out the motion of the aircraft so that the projectile pretty much leave the barrel of the gun with a velocity vector that is pretty much normal to the aircraft's velocity vector so that it truly is firing straight down.
And given there is not just one Fury but say a flight of four and they are spaced out say in a ten mile box, so that even if a fighter turns away from one Fury it might then be turning toward another.
One other tactic that a Fury might be able to employ that manned fighter might be reluctant to do is, when targeted by an RF missile, to then dive straight down in that would put the enemy in the air craft's doppler notch. Once the missile is defeated then it can pull out of that dive and resume its attack this time from below. And if it runs out of altitude before that happens, the Fury then could pull out of the dive and fly at extremely low altitude and also try to beam the threat n the hope that might hinder the missile from intercepting it in that it would have a low doppler signature and be hiding in the ground clutter as well. And with the extra fuel fraction it might have enough fuel to be able to regain that altitude later as well.
It exhibits a futuristic aesthetic reminiscent of alien technology, this aircraft appears to incorporate advanced features such as anti-gravity propulsion and supersonic capabilities. The meticulously crafted aerodynamic design underscores its commitment to high-performance functionality, suggesting a serious and cutting-edge aerospace endeavor.
As a Japanese citizen, I feel that anduril products should be deployed in Okinawa. And Palantir's software should be introduced by the Ministry of Defense. I think the communication system can be built using IOWN and Azure.
You see what’s used on TV and Social media. Anduril is focusing on bigger / better things. How many defense company’s in the US is already making these. Btw, Anduril already has Altius.
Not only is Anduril an amazing engineering company, whoever designs their products to look THIS bad ass is next level.
While I agree, this was designed by the company they acquired, not them.
@@cyberlayer7260 yup. Blue Force Technologies
what were the terms of the acquisition deal and was it an acquihire or something else?@@cyberlayer7260
Blue Force Technologies was acquired by Anduril. Pretty cool tho.

Tell your design guys that they made the most beautiful CCA in the world hands down

There are laws in place that would find any company sharing military grade tech to adversaries guilty of treason. The more you know.
