I've never seen the method with the grid, I have seen a simpler method though, where you draw a diamond inside the square, and halfway between the edge of the diamond and the edge of the square is where the curve of the circle has to touch, it's hard to explain in words, the grid method is super accurate though, but takes a lot longer
Thank you so much for this video, I was not grasping the errors I was making. How do i do this when I want to draw the cylinder in other angles? To the left or right of the VP?
"In order to draw any kind of circle, we first have to start with a square” I guess you can say that you... _squared_ the circle, huh? I'll see myself out now.
2023-04-11 Rebonjour Bonbons Brosse la vidéo est bonne et donne des trucs pour dessin des cylindres merci à vous je continuerai à regarder un autre jour merci à vous.
The black pen is Sakura Micron 04 ( final render) The green one is Roco Free Ink Roller (guidelines) The grey one is sakura koi coloring brush pen (shading)
I have a question Candy Brush. I noticed that when you were creating the upright vertical Cylinder in this tutorial, drawing a Rectangle first from the vanishing point in the middle of the horizon line. The bottom plane of the rectangle looks larger than the the top plane. I noticed you put the far back bottom line segment of the backside vertical plane of the rectangle, above the crossing of the two guiding lines of both the opposite anchor points of the middle vanishing point. Which makes the bottom plane of the rectangle longer and the backside plane look further back in 3D space than the top plane of the rectangle. Basically, the bottom of the rectangle, looks longer than the top of the rectangle. If that makes sense. My question is, is it supposed to look like that?

Best tutorial i have ever seen for drawing elipses! Thank you Candy! :-)
You are most welcome, Hanz!

Best tutorial for geometric shapes.
Thanks!
Thank you. I finally get how to draw cylinders. Great teaching!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful, thanks
Glad it was helpful!😊
Drawing vertical cylinder in 1-p or 2-p have same formation. We use 2-p if cylinder is tilted horizontally.
Cool drawing you can make a circle without a rounder !
Thanks!
You’re welcome 😉 and even this is the first time a RUclipsr replied on my comment 😄
Hello Candy brush, I have a question. Where to draw the 2nd vertical line (8:40) so that you get a perfect square face in perspective? Thank you.
To draw a perfect cube in perspective ,please watch this video: ruclips.net/video/oO3LWWV47hU/видео.html
Excellent! Thank-you!
You are welcome!
What are you using for shading? If I may ask...
Here I followed 2 methods for shading:
1- Graphite pencil then blend with stump.
2- Light & dark shade of grey markers.
Di I used to face problem while sketching small human figure please one video on this ......
🎉🎉
nice
Thanks😊
Very intersting. Thank you so much

How will u draw if the upper face of the cylinder is above the horizon line? How to judge the curve,it's depth? Please show in a video

Description says Pencil.
I have many type of pencil.
And
Visible confusion
Such a shame obviously so much talent at drawing not so much as a tutorial
I'm working on it, take it easy
why my teacher bring me here
