- What up!? This is Victor with Bet Your Bass I Yak!
OK, in my opinion (and since its the only cart I have) it's the best kayak cart and worth every penny. This cart is definitely something you should look into getting if you don't have one already and if your kayak is heavy enough to need it.
I appreciate all who have taken the time to check out my videos and my page. Please feel free to contact me about anything or even if you have comments just leave them down below and I'll make sure to reply.
If there are any specific videos you'd like to see of my gear or a suggestion of a video to do next just LET ME KNOW!!

I’ve had the c-tug in my Amazon cart for a couple of weeks. Just pulled the trigger on it after watching your video. Thanks for costing me $140! 😂
Haha! Anytime I can help. But seriously, you'll love it! Thanks for watching!
I've used the c-tug less than a year and the wheels are chipped and cracked and need to be replaced. If you are using this cart on steep uneven ground with jagged rocks the point of contact on the wheel will be in a small area causing the plastic to break. All the cart videos and reviews I watch all show people using them on a lawn a beach or a parking lot,I need something that holds up on steep rough ground.
Thanks Keith, I can say that I have only used it on grass, dirt, sand, and even-ish grounds. I do believe they make sand wheels that have a lot more give in them. Have you checked them out? Just a thought.
did you end up finding anything im in the same boat lol
Wilderness kayak cart or build a maker pipe kayak cart
I disagree, I've purchased several kayak carts and I thought this c-tug was gonna be better just because it cost more, but nope, it's just like all the other kayak carts, a pain in the ass loading a fully loaded kayak. I just invested into a Native landing gear and swapped out the tires from the C-tug and it's so awesome now. Just my opinion.
This really helped me, thanks for the movie #sweden
Hey Victor,
I recently purchased a FeelFree Lure 13.5 and I loaded it OUT with a Bixpy, 9" Garmin, 3 batteries, wired it up for internal and external lights, USB ports, emergency supplies, tackle box/rod holder behind the seat, etc. The reason I say this is because I've taken it out once and let me tell you, even though it has a wheel in the keel that thing was TOUGH going across dirt and rocks to get it to the water, a real workout. After watching this video I'm DEF going to get the C-Tug! Thanks man!
Of course brotha, have a great time and be safe! Wear that PFD.
I have the same Kayak. the 13.5 Lure is a BEAST. I had a great time last summer dragging it up a big hill and it wasnt even that loaded! Its a super heavy awkward one for sure. I'm selling mine and i will miss how stable it was on open water!
Great video, just bought me one. I also have the exact same kayak as you so that was an added benefit. Sea Ghost!!
Thanks for your comment Dax. Stick around, I have more videos coming soon!! Vibe on!!
I have used ctug for an year. It is not bad for not too heavy kayaks. But for heavy kayaks, axles will grind off the axle holes into green powder.
Thank you for that input. What would you consider a heavy kayak? Or what weight is too heavy for this cart?
✔️ well done
I have a hobie outback 2021 and used the plug cart 2ice. I really do not like something going in the scupper holes. They're reinforced, but still. I bought a C-tug and can't wait to use it. I prob won't disassemble it everytime and just strap it in the tankwell, but I also don't fish with a crate. Good vid. Tight Lines.
Awesome! Can't wait for you to try it. Good luck, thank you and tight lines!!
Thanks for this. I have a really bad elbow so I'm looking to make fishing in a kayak as easy as possible.
Of course! And it will definitely help. Thanks for watching!!
Great demo - thank you!
Awesome, I'm glad you you think it's great. Thank you for watching it.
I have watched dozens of vids of kayak carts. This is the first one to show how to unload directly onto the cart. However. Im going to watch the cart back to the truck because once I got it broke down, it would stay there.
Thank you Kathleen for watching, I really appreciate it! If needed I can make a quick vid on that. Once again, thank you!
I recognize the spot in Idaho . I live in Idaho and we are always kayak fishing . If you see a blue camo feelfree lure and a green camo feelfree lure paddle over and say hi .
Will do!! Thanks!!
I think I'll just walk my wheels back to the car.
Got an annoying heavy rusty steel one atm for my mirage. Just bought this
Oh, sorry to hear about that rusty steel one. But congrats on getting yourself the C-Tug. Will you let me know how it holds up to the Mirage, please?
@@betyourbassiyak6828 will do, looks a lot lighter and less work
Why would you ever rip your yak down the boat launch? Don't be afraid to get your feet wet.
Jeez...I'm learning, I'm learning...
Good man, I'm glad I can help! 👍
My c-tug doesn’t work that great on rougher terrain. It flips sideways under the boat or it pops apart.
I'm sorry to hear that, I recently got asked to review a different cart. Hopefully I can have the video up soon so you could see of that one would be better for you.
How about sand?
I recommend switching to the sand wheels if your mainly on sand.
@@betyourbassiyak6828 Thank you for answering, I'll look into that 👍
Of course! Anytime.
