It's been a while since I've done an update video about new modules. Is this something you're interested in? And let me know if I should record a dedicated video about one of these modules. Don't forget to support the developers!
Hi Omri! the looping system, quantizer and mixer look like they can be so useful in diverse patches, so maybe it wold be interesting to see dedicated videos for them in my opinion... Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Hey Omri. I am grateful for this sideline of yours. I went to the library the other day, and could not believe the number of modules I had not used or even heard of. Thanks as always.
I like the videos about new modules, maybe you can do one every 3-4months, i‘ve missed so many new module releases just because i don‘t update my library every week
As a big fan of your videos and also a big fan of vcv (and also beeing maried) id love to see more of these videos. and that is not just because of the moduls but also because of the way youre solving certain tasks and your explanations. it is so much inspiring. there is no "omri-session" without afterwards playing with vcv and try to imitate and try to change. thanks for sharing.
I'm so excited to be included here! That's a life goal I can mark as completed :) Unsurprisingly, I'd love to see any more ideas you have about the Memory system modules, especially any notions that would inform my future development of these modules.
Really glad you decided to do this kind of video again. I'm really liking the Stochastic Telegraph modules... It's basically a sampling Fugue Machine, brilliant! Cheers man
(Stochastic Telegraph developer here) - I'm thrilled to hear that! I'm actively working on it, plenty of interesting features are coming. Also, having made my own video (on my channel) to describe how these modules work, I have to say, Omri makes it look easy, but it is not.
These videos are what brought me to VCV in the first place. I still think they are useful and entertaining. Most can't try everything, so you showcasing some every now and then will help people find gems for them.
Regarding Glass Shard - do you know if you create a configuration with Glass Shard and save the file, will it keep that same configuration after the week is up, or will it automatically change the module? If it changes, you'll need to make sure you record the sequence you like to make sure you don't lose it when it changes. EDIT: Looking at the manual, you keep old versions in patches, and it looks like it catalogs configurations you've used, so you can use ones you like again. That's *very* cool - I am very in favor of this idea!
Befaco Burst may have been around in hardware, but it's still fairly new in VCV. Is that worth showing? (Handy for that ratcheting stuff, or just other odd clocking stuff in general.)
