They call it the Swiss army knife of 4X4 vehicles very very good car.... problem is they are so so unreliable which is tragic😂typical owner JLR group car owner love story at its best trust JLR to break your heart. A colleague told me a story that over 10 years of ownership he bought and replaced 6 AIR STRUTS......6.....it doesn't even have 6 wheels surely😂
That’s fine. They are a wear and tear item. They only have the reputation they do because of cheap idiots not understanding they require more maintenance than an average car.
@@trainman665 Brah everyone knows that Disco 4s are not that great mechanically especially Land Rover enthusiasts. Go to any Land Rover specialist mechanic and ask about them they'll tell you they are not reliable at all. Also an air strut, wear and tear item or not should fail as much as they like to fail on these bad boys. You're right being a car enthusiats it is understanding what you're delaing with and that I very much do. These vehicles are packed with stuff yes but that being said there are so many faliure points on these vehicles that couldve been engineered better but they just didn't. I used to work at a JLR and the mechanics would always say a disco 4 is a really good car but you gotta spend money on it to stay good and even when you do it'll still fail. Everyone has a car that they love that does a lot of things great but makes no sense reliability wise the disco 4 is one of them. Personally unless you really want one I don't think its worth the hassle at all.
Find my comment somewhere up there. This car is very very good but so disastrous at the same time. I can say if you do decide to take the plunge you will be very happy with the vehicle as a car but as a reliable tool no way this thing loves the garage😂it dreams about being worked on by high end technicians with every turn of the crank.... long story short find yourself a very knowledge mechanic and aim for preventative maintenance instead of waiting for this to fail and even still expect things to fail after that. It ain't for the shallow of pockets.
You are doing a review, then you say I don't know what these buttons mean ..lazy much?? The second row legroom is adequate especially for the legs...dude😅😅 Consider writing a script...you fall short

@@olivermboya3857 They are mechanically strong and one of the most popular 4x4s ever made. As with any car, maintain it properly and it will be fine.

I drove a 5l v8 was the best suv i ever drove this is the facelift the one i drove didnt have gear changing like that
Was it a diesel or petrol?
I'm tryna buy this, but people say it's disastrous. It's gonna milk my pockets, it's difficult to maintain
Generally Landrovers are not the most reliable. Some people get lucky with them. But to be safe, makes sure you are financially capable to handle it.
