Ya grandpa can do a 200lbs grip trainer like its nothing probably could go harder he was a mechanic for 45years. Man would use his bare hands instead of tools in alot of cases lol.@@EPIC_Gaster
I was at a trade show in Tennessee a few months back and one of the suppliers eho had set up a booth had a couple of grip trainers and had set up a little competition. If you could one hand the 150 pounder you got a free licensed cooler, so i figured I'd give it a shot (For context I'm an electrician so my grip strength is fairly high). He handed me the 40, no sweat light work. Same deal with the 60, then he pulled out a 100 pounder and i can honestly say that i felt muscles in my hand move that i didnt even know were there lol. I did not walk out of there with a cooler, but i did get a couple free shirts.
Lmao nice man. Everyone thinks trades gives you incredible world class grip. They don't. Above average for sure though. Not to mention. Unless your pulling wire through pipe everyday. Being an electrician doesn't do much for your grip.
Guessing they're 200lbs/inch springs or something, but it's also a lever where the lower springs exert more force because they expand further that the ones near the hinge.
Yeah I was just noticing that. Whoever engineered this doesn't understand engineering because that's not 1200 lb even if it is 6x200 lb springs. You can easily see that by putting on only one spring in each of the six positions and feel the difference in each position
@That70sChannel or maybe it's perfectly designed like that on purpose... To make it easier to train... instead of making a jump from 200lb with 1 spring to 400lb with 2 springs... U can slide them to be 250, then 300, 350, then 400lb... Jeez... idk why u geniuses who probably can't even grip half of 1 spring or come up with a better design, have to make everything so much harder and try to discredit ppl who are clearly better than u... 😂😂😂
@@JohnSmith-uq4ogthe design is clearly shifty. Even if the max is 1200 lbs, there is no accurate way of finding how much force is needed just by looking at the spring positions.
The real crazy thing about this gripper is that it's advertised as 50 kg to 1200 kg with up to 8 springs. It would average 150 kg or 3x the lowest for each spring slot. Some of the slots would add much more resistance than the others for it to work that way.
Love the content. Appreciate if you'd not have the door bell in the future. Wife and kids asleep, im scrolling youtube, doorbell, dogs lose their shit, I get in trouble 😆 lol
Also Amazon stocks certain thing in places where they are re likely to sell so they probably stocked this at a random location far from him due to it not being a common product
Surprisingly, people actually use it. A buddy who does free climbing uses that for training. At first I thought it was a badly designed aluminum cutter, but then he showed me how to use it. He's such a slim guy with a lean build, but he reps that like it's nothing.
@@georgem8744 he's just about the same height as me, 5'11. If I remember correctly, it was more than a couple of springs, but not sure if it was more than 4. He can hold himself up a cliff with just him sticking his hand into a crevice, so I guess it makes sense to train with these.
Damn this! The easiest first path to train with this is 200lbs/0.1 tons by using only 1 spring 😂. Please upload your next video when u able to crush anything with your bare hand, when u finish the 1200 lbs grip quest! 😂
I got that gripper several years ago. Hands down the best gripper I have :) I normally use it with 2-3 springs. The ergonomics are good and the adjustability is too.
You see what people don't understand is your grip strength is actually based off your forearm strength as the muscles in your forearm are what close your hand so if you made your forearm super strong maybe
Very relatable, however I fixed my problem by buying a portable heater, it works amazing (before anyone askes where I bought it and what brand my answer is I cannot remember)
I definitely need one of these to work on my grip strength, I'm a mechanic, the torque bolts on a dually Ford F1 are something like 550 to 600 ft pounds per square inch. You got to have muscle and Mass to make that happen. I need this!

Each spring you add is gonna resist much less than the ones on the far end due to leverage
You're the first one that knows basic physics.

Why does it take 2 weeks to get a package from Amazon
For me it takes like 2 days
Not using prime or he lives far from a fulfillment center.
Also depends on the creator. Amazon delivers packages, they don’t make them. 🙌

training grip trains forearms tho, lil less vice versa because forearm curls are less grip strength and more for size
