We had a wonderful experience at Excellence Punta Cana, it was our 6th time visiting an Excellence brand resort. We just keep going back to Excellence, it’s the Caribbean Resort brand we like most. Tip: The marble floors in the rooms can get very slippery. Don’t leave your sliding door open, it creates condensation on the floor.
Tip: No dinner reservations required at any restaurant (not incl. Hibatchi). To avoid any line-ups for a restaurant go before 7pm.
Tip: Not a lot of Space to store clothes. There is a walk-in closest, but still no drawer space to store clothing.

Thank you for your comment and watching our video. The Excellence Club rooms include upgraded Bulgari toiletries. Yes, toothpaste is included, and a toothbrush. If there’s anything you need and you can’t find it in your room, contact the Concierge and it will be delivered in no time. Excellence Resorts are wonderful, with great service, amenities, good food and of course, fun things to do.

I'm really enjoying your videos. Can we request a room/villa and if so, how do you go about requesting this? We are booking a Junior suite with an ocean view. Would like to face south, towards the resort if possible. Would you know which villa/room numbers I would be looking at? Thanks

When you book a room at the resort you can request a specific room or building. They usually do their best to accommodate you, but there’s no promises. About 2 weeks before your stay, send a message (email) to the concierge with your request.
