I have a trick for this. My own char have animal whisperer and i have Tomcat, Billy and Jean, Klon, Polly and 3 Cyborgchicken with me. So i let my char stay out of the fight with the animals and let an other char beginn the fight. Then i move in with my char with animal whisperer and the animals will stay back as long no enemie get in line of sight and you still keep the buffs. This will help not reload a thousend times.
I’m actually pretty excited to get this game. I’ve only played one top down, cRPG style game before this, but the more I hear about this game, the more interesting it sounds.
Dantics I can get into slow or fast paced games. The other cRPG I’ve played is DOS2. I sometimes thought it was a little tedious, but that was mostly because at first I would sit there for an hour or more whenever my character and her companions would level up trying to figure out how I wanted to allocate everyone’s points, whether my builds were adequate, etc. It got easier for me as I learned more and went along. I tend to like RPGs in general, so I decided to try out a cRPG. In the beginning I definitely felt like I was thrown into something that I didn’t understand as much as I thought I would with almost no guidance lol, but I definitely liked it as I got accustomed to it.
@@910iAmHuGs well this gives you a lot more direction than DOS2. It also is more forgiving of mistakes. You can quick load when ever you need, and screwing up a build isn't the end of the world. You can simply recruit another custom character. Check out my 10 things vid and that's pretty much all you need to know. I adore the game. The difference is though that this is scifi, not fantasy. Though if you liked any of the fallouts you will like this.

I might add the clone quest also gives a buff called "Third Eye" given a character 10% crit chance . Move your character you want to have it on the panel far from the computer and complete the experiment. However the downside is you are not allowed to use npc doctors since they will fix the third eye. I forgot the other medical item which fixes third eye too.
totally forgot about the npc doctor myself, it was an reflex of always have the doctor heal my party. Not realizing that you also remove those great mutations.
People look down on animal whisperers.. welp until they realize that a squad with one full charisma leadership healbot character + army of two headed ram, cyborg chicken, bison, honey badger, clone, healbot, russian laserbot, toaster, monster pets (don't let these die, they're unique), and whatever pets you fill in rofl-stomp all content. Their only weakness is enemies on ladder which makes your melee animal type companion either unable to attack or make them go around.
I think the Mobster line with the bury me with the money is a reference to an old SNES title "Sunset Riders" where you kill the first boss in the first level He would say "Bury me with my money" before dying.
Am I the only one that had a big with these guys where they just vanish. Not killed they just stop existing poultron and party pal got thanos snapped as well as the provist
I'm not sure how it plays on consoles but on PC it's great. If you enjoy the classic Fallout style RPG, its a great pick up. A more recent comparison is divinity, or xcom like combat. I played through it three times and loved it.
Its really fun on console and plays pretty well, some frame drops at points and some random crashes. other than that game plays (this has only happened to me 3 times) nicely on ps4
High con is nice, but if you take say twice as long to get to and kill enemies you'll also be taking hits twice as long meaning you take twice as much incoming damage. As with MMORPG raid strats, sometimes preventing damage being done (shields, resistance, crowd control) and killing your enemies faster is more efficient than relying on soaking damage.
@@danjal87nl me? I do both. I make sure I kill them out right first before I start gets more con ,but still con helps you take damg that you would have failed to take.
That would be terrible on supreme jerk. You’d probably get one shot anyway you just need to do damage and get as much cannon fodder as possible(animals, clone, robots)
I accidentally hit quickload and went from level 15 to level 8 and I'm so fuckin' sad about this. It was like 5-ish hours of lost progress, which sucked so much. I really wish they added a confirmation option for quickloading.

Came back later and loaded in to a surprise. I then checked the save files and several hours were literally gone. It was weird, like a soft reset. Honestly, had it been days or something I may not have continued on but it also forced me to manual save quite frequently and I haven't seen it since. Hopefully they patched it out by now.

I had the armor from satoshi on pizepi, and the other really op armor that u find the legs of at the Paint mines and the body at the scar collector mine equipped on marshal and then they Both left so i lost my best armor and 4 really op weapons bc they left
yeah im with you the console version is buggy as hell still love the game just makes me wish i had a pc powerful enough to run these types of games again

no, you only get one. Just get 2 or 5 in animal whisperer to get the cat for a 3% crit chance (6% with the perk). 6 if you are going for a melee character so you can get the stag.
It's a consumable, like the turret/sawdroid etc. I found one in a box, and you can buy them from certain vendors. You'll need someone with Mechanics to deploy it.
you can get one as permanent follower in Mashine Commune with certain choices (also its improved version of consumable , because he also can heal you party members with Med Darts during combat)
@@noahbernstein5536 not all pets, animals tamed via the animal whisperer skill do, but pets like party pal, poultron, the guy in the Warren, the golden toaster and more dont, they get recruited in another way that causes u to nog have a buff, u can still tame a animal if u have followers like that while only having 1 animal whisperer person
as far as i know only one pet for one person But if all your party have animal whisperer You can recruit 6 pet to each ranger But i think only honey badger and tom the cat thats worhty Especially for early sniper due to you dont need animal whisperer to recrut tom. +6% crit on early is really good. so i suggest only one person that max animal whisperer

Chicken is useless time waster with 10 dmg per hit (normal chicken is a god king in comparison with it and +6% xp). Same as toaster, super annoying sounds and 0 combat impact. Badger is good.
That's because damage scales to Animal Whisperer, but the party member is links up with is random. I just ran around with the bear cub and waste wolf terrifying everything that wasn't a robot.

Check your auto saves.
You dont have any other saves to load? It shouldn't have deleted whatever save you were planning on loading just by loading an older one...
I've put the autosaves on every 5 minutes. It just works

My clone vanished so I can't get the pink goo. There seem to be a lot of bugs related to NPC followers, sad times.
If you switch out the character you made the clone from in ranger headquarters even temporally your clone disappears forever.
I lost the pink goo and the clone got no guns.

Most of these dont give a buff bc it isnt a animal, they are mostly extra's like the party pal
