I would like to share some knowledge about what we call discussion. In our culture there are three types of conversations 1) Charcha - in which either parties are ready to agree what other says. 2) Jalpa - In which one tries to prove himself right no matter what and tries to give even logic less explanations. 3) Vithanda - In which he doesn't even want to support his own argument but tries to find faults with the other's arguments.
