To all my fellow Cornish men and women, hope everyone had a wonderful flora day today. In case anyone listening to this doesn't know the history to this song. In 1911 Katie Moss visited Cornwall and was in Helston on Flora Day, she listened to the Furry Dance and whilst on the Train back home to London wrote the song Floral Dance to describe what she heard there. Helston Flora Day is to mark the end of winter and hello to spring for it meant that summer would soon be here. x
That's one of the better examples I've heard, it's the right tempo (often bands are a little off in my opinion) and I do like the way you can clearly hear the drums.
Nice but a tiny bit rushed I think which makes the cornet solo at 0.57 a bit garbled. However most other performances I have found are too slow so - complimenti.
