Fun thing how this is an AMV with cover song and video from anime which is an adaptation of manga which is an adaptation of light novel which is an adaptation of series of songs. Everything comes full circle, huh?
Spoilers: tldr: Please watch the videos, read the manga, read the novels and then watch the anime, trust me the different media are not adaptations, but additions and you need to experience the whole thing to experience the story, also the manga and novels can be found for free online, so money isn't an excuse. The manga is not an adaptation of the light novel, the light novel not only came after but shows a slightly altered timeline from the first manga timeline, and is not abruptly cut short by the clearing eyes, instead the light novels are more similar to the anime, but at the same time has a bunch of different content, more backstory, a different ending, and many different plot events. All of the media tell the story completely differently and more continue and add to one another, as opposed to adapting one another. This even holds true for the songs, we never have any other showing of route XX in any other media other than the songs, Lost Time Memory being the main one, this route proves that while people do not remember exactly what happened in previous timelines, they still learn and adapt throughout timelines, e.g. Ene learned that she had to be more proactive and upbeat towards Shintaro, otherwise Shintaro would just become more and more depressed and would never move on. Another timeline unique to one media is the second route in the manga, which is never mentioned or seen in any other media, but is completely integral to the entire climax and build up of the series, as well as solving tons of plot threads. All in all, experience all of the media, not just one "adaptation."
@@GeoFallsThrough Bread Box recently(???) did a full story explanation of every timeline and presented it in a way that was very easy to understand. Highly recommend watching it, if you don't feel like going through all the PVs, manga, light novels THEN a 12-episode anime to understand just what the crap is going on with these crazy kids.
I think I get it now. Both of them are trying to save each other. I think. because before she falls to her death she's always smiling almost seemingly as if she saved his life. Then going to the boys perspective he doesn't know that so he trying to save her life. So pretty much this is just an endless cycle of two kids dying for each other.

Yeah, that's the anime he's talking about, not the lyrics. In the anime, the kid realizes the inevitable, so he throws himself in front of the car, and he turns around, looks over at the cat, and goes, "Screw you cat." Then proceeds to get run over by a fucking giant ass truck.
Well They're in parallel world. If someome die in parallel world, that one will alive in real world. (You must watch anime to understand this.) But the boy and the girl don't know so they think they're saving their friend.
Love this song it describes the events happening in the anime episode perfectly while still being an awesome sounding song. Hooray for Mekaku city actors.
they're both the chosen kids who got stuck in a challenging kind of never ending timeline after facing a death experience (pretty much all the main characters), and only one of them will get out and get the eye power. if the girl dies for a certain time, she'll get out, but if the boy dies instead, the boy will get out...
This is an awesome video. The animation is perfectly surreal and gorgeous. I love it. I felt shivers whenever the part with their deaths would come. This is a great video.

She Is scared because, the Cat is you. The boy. The same person. Two endings, one of both has to die anyways like in a pasional love or toxic relationship. The black Cat, I THINK, represents the bad thing to be KNOWNED each other because that is not love anymore. One has to die eventually. Methaforic talking of course. rocio sanchez the cat doesn't have any relevance to the loop, it's just a creepy plaything that the creators decided to put in. Even though the cat is portrayed as some sort of evil figure, in context it really has nothing to do with it.
Rocio Sanchez Watch the anime or read the manga/light novel and listen to more of the songs! They're great! The girl's name is Hiyori and the boy's name is Hibiya by the way. both of them are trapped in a really hot summer day and the girl keeps dying for decades but actually the girl is trying to save the boy from the time loop. The cat is the heat and therefore "is" the summer day and has trapped them in the day and is laughing at the girl's death and at the end the boy doesn't want to see his friend die and saves her from the truck but the girl was actually trying to save the boy from the time loop( like I said before) At least that's what I think
