I got a g4 without suspension..anyone think or seen a G4 non suspension to suspension upgrade?

So is the lock just for the battery compartment?

Yes! I wondered the same thing. I thought maybe it locked the scooter somehow. It's basically there so you can take the battery out in case you wanted to charge it inside outside of the scooter which I think is pretty cool.
