As a teenager in the 70’s, we got whip lash with all the great bands and albums dropping, never to be repeated, SADLY
Angie, and Wild Horses are two of my all time favorites songs❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The Stones showing the breadth of their catalog here. Written by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, so completely authentic for the band.
Rolling Stones.. on the mount Rushmore of rock bands. Love this song!
All those beautiful strings do add wonderful flavor
An under appreciated Stones gem.
My favorite of theirs
Stones really know how to layer in the strings, harmonica, saxophone, keys, etc to compliment what Keith, Mick Taylor (1970’s) or Ronnie, and Charlie Watts were laying down. Add in Mick Jagger’s vocals and you have pure perfection. Best, most versatile, rock band in the history of rock and roll IMO. Still going strong 60 years later. Who else can say that……nobody!
"Angie" was a number one hit in the US for The Rolling Stones in 1973. I was in grade school back then and remember hearing the song on the radio station my parents listened to throughout the fall and winter of that year. Definitely a cold weather song for me. Audio equipment in the seventies was still analog. The transition to digital began in the eighties. "Winter" is another cool ballad from that album, but for ballads, check out "Wild Horses" first, then "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "You Got The Silver", "Love In Vain", "Waiting On A Friend", "Time Is On My Side", "Sister Morphine", "Moonlight Mile" ...
The strings and piano and brass in any rock song make it so interesting. It's the best. ❤
One of the best. No-one could sing this song anything like Mick, and that sweet piano adds so much emotion. Thanks for reminding us how good this tune is.
They've a huge catalogue ..... of classics. Even their new album is worth a long listen... especially Sweet Sounds of Heaven!
And on piano Nicky Hopkins
Hey Ace and Happy Saturday.. I'm so glad my childhood had these beautiful songs ..imagine waking up for school listening to 70s and 80s music..perhaps that's why the majority of my generation had calmness..
Great song by the Stones. Incredible journey they had as a band.
Stones music is consistently musically and lyrically interesting.
Such a great song~🙂👍✌️
It was all real no auto fake pure talent 😢
This song is one of their best songs and one of my favorites of any song. I care that you're 27😅❤. Great channel. You're a sweetheart.
One of the best songs ever I love this song❤❤❤❤❤
This got so much airplay when it came out that I got tired of it. It’s now one of my favorite songs of all time.
Stones bigger and better than all the rest. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Nice reaction!
Alas, the tender breakup... ❤🔥💔❤🔥
Oh wow you should have done the live version❤
Hi❕Ace the♥️for Music🎼
Supposedly about David Bowie wife
No. It’s a Keith song. Nothing to do with Angie Bowie
Or any other woman called angie 😜
If you liked this I'm sure you'd like Fool To Cry.
One of the Stones’ worst songs ever.
