I'm planning to buy a bunch of them pretty soon. From what I've seen those pendant type that you've got seem to hang nice & straight whist the other type can tend to twist sometimes. The only thing I'm not sure about is how hard they are to roll up?
Thanks for this, super helpful. Do you have any recommendations of how to do the same thing but for a tent with wooden center poles? I imagine they do not have the same bolts to ensure the zip tie / lights do not slide down the center pole. Also, how many feet of lights do you recommend for the size of the tent. My tent will be 51x71'. I'd really appreciate your clarification on this!!
The light’s really finish off the tent, nice work buddy!
Lights are a must upsell, because the tent looks twice as nice on the inside with them.
@@TheRentalJourney I agree
Looks great.
Thanks for a great video.

They’re alright, not perfect, but alright.

Should be similar on wood. Just use high quality zip ties and double them up.
Can you please tag the frame tent tutorial? I do not see that video on your page or in the description! Thank you! 😊
Hi, what do you use as a power source for the lights in cases where there’s no power supply? Please include the product name and capacity. Thank you 😊
Honda 2200i generator/inverter
What brand lights are you using? Also do they have sockets to plug into each other or is each strand its own circuit
Right now we’re using the Costco light strands. They’re 48ft and can be daisy chained together.
I’m still wondering where you plug in the string for power supply 😅 You seem to be out in a field with no sockets available?
That one is hooked up to a generator
What do you do with the excess string of lights?
Tuck away or string along existing line.
How many feet of lights did you use for this?
Around 300-400
