Introducing the GMC Acadia 3.6 engine designed to self immolate packed with foam.

The heat retention can only cause the engine to heat up even more and reduce the life of the engine. The poor design of the 3.6 and the foam causes the oil to varnish due to heat and then the time parts to fail early. You would be lucky to get over 100K miles out of this 3.6 GM engine.
