Well you've got me hooked on this hobby. I picked up the tiny Hawk 3 RTF kit the other day. Now for incentive for me to learn I picked up the nanahawk X today. So I have incentive to learn to fly quicker. Thank you again Captain Drone you are awesome! Love the Videos. Keep them coming!
Great! If you can practice on FPV drone sims, it will quickly train your hand/eye coordination. I don’t fly sims so there are none I can recommend but once you start looking for them, you’ll find plenty.

Love the looks of these little drones was a bit worried about wind when I purchased it but this video has calmed my nerves I think it's quite a bit of power in a compact body so should be fun
Trying to find the bind button. Done it before but cant remember where it is. I hooked 3 650mah batteries in parallel and flew mine for 13 minutes. It carried the weight fine. I've also flown it with an onstage, it's heavy but Carrie's the weight fine. I love this little drone, but gotta find the bind button on my new one.

The ZINO MINI has not yet been released for North America. When it is, I should have one for review.

Seems like a decent drone. There is a external $80 DVR my Imersionrc with a screen you can use to make clearer video recordings from fatsharks. I have not had the greatest experience with the emax tinyhawk 2. Their FC's are proprietary to the drone due to the unusual shape which i don't like and cost more than universal FC's. My daughter and I love watching your reviews! Bring your dad on again please!

The camera on your nanohawk looks defective too, all the corners are dark and discolored. I saw another reviewer who's nanohawk camera looked the same.

Its quiet! I bought the old nano hawk from rdq a month or so back for $43 and put the parts on a tks carbon frame. It looks a lot like this one!
I love watching your videos and would love to get into FPV drones but know how I am and it would be another aspect of my $18,000 worth of RC cars lol
I had about 30 RC cars and sold 3/4 of them after I started flying FPV drones. Its a lot of fun.
Honestly, 3-inch.. drone, and the bag to carry everything is the size of one I would use on a weekend trip... Sorry man can't do it, just too much stuff to carry I guess we're all spoiled now because of how small the drones have gotten...

Nano hawk X just looks like Nano hawk without prop guards which is not good for me as I want to fly a beginner fpv drone indoors!
Waiting for BetaFPV to make the new RTF drone which you told me about!
The "X" is a more pro Nanohawk since it has the brushless motors. Prop guards are for indoor flying when it comes to tiny drones.

Use, but where do you place it? You could try strapping it to the bottom which is gonna damage it each time you land.

Nice drone - informative review (thanks for not reading all the speaking points). I decided to go digital/DJI googles and controller from my first drone -- so my self-imposed hobby limitation means the Nano Hawk X is not a drone for me.
Get the uruav dji analog module. Worka great with eachine receiver. Also started digital and got this. Although crux3 I would prefer over this becazse of 2s
Why is 1S on 3 inch so popular now? If i put a 600 mah 1S or 300 mah 2s its the same auw weight but more punch on 2s. Prefer crux3
Does this work with the dji fpv system or would i have to buy different goggles and controller?
Different gear. If you wanted to use the DJI FPV goggles you'd have to buy an ANALOG system for them.

Get yourself something more reliable like the Mini SE or a Parrot Anafi.
It should be released to North America at the end of August at the earliest.
Hey captain drone, I bought this a couple months ago never flew it cause the controls where messed in betaflight and I don't know how to do that. I'm flying the emax tinyhawk 3 rtf kit, and I was able to get the nanohawk x bound to the controller and connected to the goggles, it was just that the controls are all messed up. Do you know how to fix them in beta flight?
Yes, I can fix them easily. But, it would take me days to explain what to do over email or txt. You'd be best to either do some research or find someone in your are knowledgeable with FPV.

3:55 min - you don't need Prop screws.. Too heavy :P my 2S 3" with Gemfan 3018 bi-blade are holding perfect 👌🏼 (without screws)

2:57 min - D8 only ? I've read that it can be bound in D16 too.. Otherwise 200 mW are unnecessary.. (external Rx needed - solder pads for it ?)
In the manual it showed D8.

@@Cre8ionz. Every EMAX drone ever made has always been D8 since it is the most popular. Send an email to EMAX and ask them your question and maybe there is a work around.

@@Cre8ionz. EMAX will always build the receiver into the flight controller (at least that is what I always notice with their products), so you can’t unsolder it.

Hey Steve, is this like usual that the camera quality is better in the headset than we see?
Always that way. When you watch a video of a FATSHARK recording you see all types of interference your brain doesn't see, or else you'd never be able to fly. The FATSHARK recorder records a super low resolution image and also adds in all the interference, so ya get what ya get.

I was just looking into building a small 1s quad using expresslrs! Did you use a larger battery on the second flight? I noticed it said ~830mah used on the OSD
It is just the editing, how I chopped up the video, it is not in sequence (same battery).
Very nice. I really like the nano drones they are a blast to fly you can take several of them and pile of batteries and fly all day.

Is it safe to run higher volt/mAh batteries with a drone like this. I have lipos that could connect to that with 2000mAh @11.1v. However I wonder if the higher voltage would damage the drone/motors?

It certainly won't lift a 2000 mAh battery :-)
