Hey Stephen, They are Asolo Fugitive Gtx boots and I LOVE them!!! Awesome, awesome boots...but if your doing a late season hunt, I gotta tell ya they aren't the warmest boots. Also something to keep in mind if you buy this type of mountain boot; you never want to wear them on asphalt or blacktop, save 'em for backcountry. The soles are very soft and wear quickly, they are designed for surefootedness in the backcountry and they preform very well at it. Thanks for checking and good luck!!! Noel
I've never had an issue and there have been many a morning that I set my Nomads out to catch the morning sun and recharge Serpa's or Guide 10's while out on a hunt only to return that night back to camp in the rain or snow. They've always worked and don't seem affected by the moisture. Of course if your Nomad gets buried in snow it's not going to generate a charge!! Make sure you tuck your Guide 10 into the pocket (if you go with a Nomad) otherwise place it under the solar panel to protect it.
Thanks Rick!! Currently all I use are Big Agnes bags...LOVE 'EM!! Back when we did this video, I was using a Eureka Silver City 30 mummy bag. If your looking for a warm season bag, it's a good cheap option. Personally I hate mummy bags, that's why I love the BA park Series bags check them out www.bigagnes.com/Products/ProductFinder/Bag/filters/6. We also did a video on them as well. Thanks for watching and hope this helps, good luck!! Noel
Hey Tyler, I'd love to be able to tell it was Sasquatch but that would be a fib!! That is actually where our camp is set up, you can see 1 of the tents right where you see Brian (my brother) moving around. There are 3 one man tents set up back in that little opening. Thanks for watching, Happy Thanksgiving!! Noel
Hello Ethan, I just ran and checked and all that is stamped on it is "NRS" can't remember who made it or what it is called but I do remember that I bought it at REI. Sorry, not much of a help, I've had it a long time not sure if they sell them anymore?! Thanks for watching it's much appreciated! Noel
Great packout video! Im stoked for my j34 to come in this week
