Never been so fast to purchase something! I love your videos, been watching for a few years now, I have that exact meal planning book, LOVE IT. Can't wait to watch the courses and try to save me some mulah$$$ and some time and enegry as a mom of a 4 year old and 2 month old.
Hello Jen, I hope you are having a relaxing start to your weekend. This meal planning course is genius! I work with young adults, specifically international college and university students, who have not been taught the very valuable skills of grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking. I can't tell you how often they complain about the expense of having to buy takeout meals because they wouldn't know where to start planning meals and using a few recipes to keep them on a food budget. This course isn't only helpful to young adults , but to everyone who would like to prepare better than takeout meals and do so in spite of inflated grocery prices. Good luck ! Margaret
Hey Jen, I‘m a 19 year old girl from Munich, Germany and just bought your course. I hope it helps me even more to meal prep and prepare myself to plan out the right meals for my apprenticeship👍☺️
Totally agreed. It is really tuff to eat healthy, exercising and sleeping enough while travelling. I’m in the airline industry and I totally understand you.
We do "theme nights" for some days. It does help with planning, but we started it because my son with autism needed the routine. We have 4 kids and both work full-time, though I do work from home, which helps. Mondays - Doesn't have a theme, but I usually make something in the crockpot or something really easy because they're busy days for me. I haven't thought of a clever name for it yet. Lol. Tomorrow, I'm making a roast with vegetables kit that was on sale at Walmart with some Walmart bakery croissants. Tuesdays - "Taco Tuesday" (tacos, taco soup, quesadillas, nachos, taco salad, or something similar). For this coming Tuesday, I've planned taco soup with Fritos. I made chicken quesadillas last week with chips and salsa on the side. Wednesdays - It doesn't have a set theme yet. We consider it a random night because it could be anything, but I do make breakfast this night a lot when I can't otherwise figure it out. I might steal your "waffle Wednesday" theme. Lol. Thursdays - "spaghetti Thursday" (some kind of pasta, like spaghetti, ravioli, Alfredo, hamburger helper, even chicken noodle soup, etc.) This Thursday, I'm making a frozen lasagna and garlic bread because it's our anniversary and I won't want to really cook. We're going away the following weekend and can go out then. Friday - "fast food Friday" (some kind of takeout, it's my day off from cooking dinner). Saturday - "pizza Saturday". No alliteration there. Lol. Sunday - sort of themed. I usually do a traditional-ish Sunday dinner type thing (a ham, roast, rotisserie chicken, chicken and dumplings, or something similar) or "sandwich Sunday" or "soup Sunday". Today, I'm making grilled ham and cheese on brioche bread.
Video brought to you by me!! Lol I love to batch cook while switching the meat from week to week. Maybe make a beef casserole, taco meat and spaghetti one week. Next week, chicken fajitas, a chicken and veggie soup, and crock pot meal.
Thank you for offering this course! I am still watching you and love learning from you and so excited to have a dedicated course as I need the kick to get started again with a structured meal planning course. Love you girl!
Hey ! Loved the video Could you give some advice for teenagers who still live with parents ? , like how to navigate the situation and successfully have a fitness journey ❤
Me trying to meal plan knowing what my kids like & also knowing what they're tired of... I even try having them help more or asking what meal they'd like me to make.
The Paprika app was the ultimate game changer for planning meals and generating a grocery list. It has also replaced my recipe box and most books. 100% customizable, user friendly, and I also use it when cooking.
Meal planning is my nemesis, i work through most dinner hours so i have to leave instructions for the husband and prep ( so he doesnt get overwhelmed lol) or use the crockpot or make a freezer meal.
@@clschaan me too. It's difficult leaving instructions for the 13 year old. I was cooking full meals at his age but he's not interested in cooking really.
I signed up right away!! How cool!! Congratulations!!! I'm so excited!!! I like to do a monthly meal plan, by the way. Doing weekly has made it way too easy to deviate than monthly. I don't adhere to it 100% (I move meals around or we eat out instead sometimes), but it's been easier to stick to that than a weekly one.
Can't find your course anymore I would still like to have it can you post the link please? The link you have pinned does not have a page to register as a new student at least I could not find the page, do you happen to have a customer service line I can call or email?
Hi Jen, my main problem with meal planning is that when the day comes I don't feel like eating that anymore. Do you have any ideas? I usually have everything ready, I start very good Monday and Tuesday and then everything falls apart 🙃
I'm the same way. So I plan 5 meals per week (1 night out and 1 leftover night). I make sure I have all the ingredients for them and I decide the night before which meal I want
We are planners but w my schedule there's some night I'm not home til 630 or 930. So my husband cooks and feed the family then I just warm up or take for lumch. These are great ideas and awesome you started this class. Hugs friend Elissa modesto cali @elissa_tc

Those are all great points! So many don’t learn those skills at home.
I am very new to the idea of meal planning. I hadn't realised it was so complicated you needed to do a course on it! A rethink may be in order.

I need tips on feeding toddlers! How do you get your kids to eat the same food as you?
I used to give my son like one Brussel sprout. Little by little and then let them see you snacking on things and they will imitate you!
I recommend She’s In Her Apron’s planner! Every month she has a spread to take your inventory and write meal ideas based on what you already have
Found you from Frugal Fit Mom! So glad I did!
Okay Murphy standing there watching you from behind cracked me up😂😂 congrats on launching your course!!
Great video Jen. Best part for me is seeing Murphy! Such a sweet boy. Milo is handsome as well.

This sounds great! Is it a one tme charge or monthly?
Just one time!
Did you already announce the meal planner winners who signed up for the course? Thanks!
Congratulations Jen. I might just have to take your class.❤
Sweet! Looking forward to the course. I do meal plan but there's room for improvement. 😆
What paper (non meal) planner do you use?
How long do we get access to the class once we sign up?
