We can't have Hollywood making DragonBallZ today.... they would turn Vegeta as bisexual and race swapped, Gohan changed to gay, Krillon would be race swapped, Master Roshi would be altered into being a celibate blue haired environmentalist and Goku would outperformed by some new Mary Sue character.... seriously that's what happens today. There's zero respect for the original characters and lore history.

This could be a whole Cinematic Universe if done right. This is one of the most recognized animes worldwide. The issue is considering the nature of the material it would require a huge budget to make right, due to Fx, good writing, good acting and directing. So many would not want to run the risk. But done right, this is a billion dollar franchise.

They should at least try to do 1 origin movie and go from there. Japan productions already showed us they very capable with Godzilla minus one.

Using CG entirely to create characters would be better than using a mix of real actors and CG, because it would be easier to achieve a consistent look.

honestly the reason db evolution wasnt that much of a hit movie is because it's live and looks strange...db only can be either an animation like it is or if they work on 3D type of movie you can do more with that.. and make the graphics look real then you can play with that movie how you want too
