Kolkata sarees are unique with exquisite prints and weaves & this namesake store has an extensive & genuine collection !
Lucknow prints are lovely too + prices are very competitive ; we have a similar store in Lutyens- Khan market close to our house.
My Mom says Alka Beti 💕 loves yellow shades 🎈💫 🤩⭐😊.

मी 1972 ला नोकरीला लागले तेव्हापासून तुमच्याकडून कलकत्याच्या काॅटन साड्या तसेच नऊवार नऊवार काॅटन साड्या भरपूर खरेदी केल्या.एकाच वेळेस दोन साड्या घ्यायची एक मला आणि एक आईला. आधी एक गृहस्थ दुकानात असायचे ते मी कधी त्या रस्त्यावरून गेले आणि त्यांनी बघितल तरी बोलावून नवीन काही माल आला तर आवर्जून दाखवत. मग एखादी साडी घेण्याचा मोह आवरत नसे. जुन्या झालेल्या साड्या आई घरी नेसण्यासाठी घेऊन जायची.पुरेपूर पैसे वसूल. रिटायरमेंट नंतर सगळच बंद झालाय
असो.फार छान आठवणी आहेत म्हणुन.
