Its about time we actually started bringing the club forward into the 21st century and this would be the move.
Obviously the wages would be high, but with the money we'll get for O'Riley plus the insane amount of money we already have in the bank AND the freed up wages from hart .....

Casteels would probably be the best keeper we’ve ever had if we can get him, he probably wants to come and actually win some trophies before he retires as I’m not sure if he’s won much being at Wolfsburg for so long
The turkish keeper is by far the best gk so far ! Made big saves during derbies n big games in turkey, defo the best choice for me

Honestly, when are football fans going to get real.
It's a piece of piss to identify players you want, the trouble is convincing them to move to Scotland to play away at Kilmarnock, St Mirren, Dundee, Ross County etc.
Looking at players in the Bundesliga is pretty ridiculous as they'll have far better options. You need to look at peer group leagues like Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Austria etc.
@@sandersson2813from these “peer group leagues” you mention, Celtic have negotiated three transfers this season, none of which have been outright successes. Most of Celtic’s recent successes in terms of signings have come from these bigger leagues, like Portugal, Netherlands and England, so why wouldn’t we push the boat?
@@p_ensemble18 You should certainly try, but Scotland is increasingly being seen as a destination way down the list of countries players want to go to.
If you were a foreign player, you wouldn't want to sign for a club in Scotland when you could play in a dozen better countries with at least 18 better leagues.
That's why Celtic can't sign the players they used to be able to.

Celtic and Rangers have a complete inability to sign they type of player in terms of ability that they want.
It's the same with managers.
If Celtic were the big club they arguably once were, it wouldn't be so hard to sign talent, but they've fallen so far down the pecking order that the current squad is a shadow of even Lennon and Strachan's day, let alone O'Neills.
If you were a big club you should have players and managers lining up to play for the club, and they wouldn't leave for Southampton after two seasons.
Even a few years ago you got good players, but now you can't sign anyone who can improve you in Europe. You wouldn't be signing dross like Scales, Johnson, Maeda etc if you were truly a big club.
You wouldnt be scouring clubs to pick a goalkeeper from obscurity and hope they'll settle for the low bar of Scottish football.
When you try to buy someone on a Celtic FM and then this is rumoured next season😮. Shame he didn't agree and I went with Maekawa instead.
